Gundam SEED Trailer - My take on it

It's like an AMV per day for me, huh?

To be honest, this one was made the same time as my previous one, only this one I took more time with it. This AMV here is my baby... well, not like my first one though, but it's high up there.

Alright, so I think I covered all the angles with this AMV. It's got a point (taken SSJ3's suggestion into consideration after my last AMV), and everything I did (clips, timing) was for a reason and done on purpose. It turned out exactly how I imagined it would be, however, if you do catch something then please comment on it. I'll take any suggestions into consideration if it falls along with what I had in mind. If there had to be a Gundam SEED trailer, this would be my take on it. To be frank, it doesn't give you the exact plot of SEED, but it gives you the gist of it with my twist.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Gung Ho Studios is me. I felt it just had to be there.

Well I updated my AMV with a modified/extended ending, hence the title Extended Edition. The ending of the original felt weak, as though it was missing something, so I decided to fix it up.

did you submit this on Animemusicvideo.org by any chance? because i just saw the same thing posted on their boards and i was just wondering to make sure it was you lol..

i posted my story over their.. got an average star rating of 3.5 so im pretty happy.

Yeah. And it's not really that long. Trailers are around 2 mins, give or take.

^ yea though if you make another AMV trailer try an more upbeat song or something that really grabs the person's attention.. for example the teaser i made i used the matrix thing and some bam effects. ( did not know what else to say other than bam lmao) then again mine was a teaser not a trailer so i got to the point fast in it.

but gratz on the trailer glad you are looking at AMV's a differant way than normal AMV makers do

That was pretty good, I liked it

. I definitely wasn't expecting that music, it was very .... "appropriate" for the clips shown.

I really wanted to move away from my previous works. I'll still do music videos if I feel like it, but I enjoy doing movie trailers more. I don't know, but its more fun to do.

FREEDOM was the start of it, really. I just corrected my mistakes with this one.

^ yea trailers/narrarations are alot of fun and alot of freedom... only hardparts are the choosing of a good song and what to do with it.

i find using instrumental songs the easiest and most effective for those types of AMV's.

I still have to complete my AMV that was mainly about my teaser i posted up before... though i still have to wait for mai otome to get done.. not just for PArt 2 of the Mai otome story but for my AMV revoling around that theme i had in my trailer.

Pretty good

Timing was good and the song choice great. But at some parts of the song you could have used clips that don't involve all that action, shooting and dying

Thanks for the comments and suggestions guys. I'm putting together my next AMV right now. Nothing solid - I'm just tossing ideas around my head. Like all my other ones, this one will be Gundam SEED (possibly Destiny) related as well.
