Chouji underrated

Look how fuckin' big he can turn. What would, say, Kakashi do to a massive rolling attack from Chouji's size? Some Pain paths would even lose to Big Chouji. So would Sasuke before gaining Amaterasu (well, I don't know the chakra cot of staying gigantic). Chouji is a beast.

Well, you're clearly blowing his capabilities out of proportion but I do agree that he is horribly underrated.

Although he wouldn't stand a chance against the likes of Kakashi, Pain, Sasuke ect I do believe that he could beat or equal most of the other rookies.

I think Chouji is much stronger than allot of people give him credit for, his achievements are impressive for someone who was long thought of as the weakest rookie.

I don't think Chouji could solo Pein, in fact we know he can't, but I do agree that he's underrated. People see him as the stupid fat kid and there's a lot more to him than that. He's a pure example of Beware The Nice Ones. Plus he was one of the few Konoha kids who actually got off his arse and fought in the Pein arc, rather than just standing around looking gormless.
Given that his dad is built like a brick shithouse, if Chouji surpasses him, he'll be pretty fucking dangerous.

Yes, Kakashi is illustrated as stronger. But IS he LOGICALLY stronger? What skills would counter Chouji's titanic roll attack? Digging underground?

lol the kids is awful. him becoming bigger just makes him a bigger target. He could beat ino and tamari and thats it. all the other rookies would kick his ass.

uchiha's are extremely overrated, the most overrated on these forums. but they at least have some kind of feats to make it somewhat an argument. chouji does not. neither of the three mentioned in the OP would even be touched by chouji. chouji is literally fodder level.

yeah maybe as a whole, but as far as individual characters from the clan i have not heard anything as absurd as this....that says a lot.
