Albus Dumbldore vs. Gandalf the White

Who would win the head of Hogwarts or the Hobbit helper? I personaly think Dumbldore. But what do you think?

I agree on the balrog. U-No-Poo seriously lacks the scary factor of a flaming demon.

Still, all Dumb-ledore had to do in a one on one was to simply A-K Gandalf - it's about one battle, not an overall war ... and simply A-K'ing Gandalf until he gets translucent, attains godhood and vanishes altogether would work too.

Dumbledore would win. He can apparate(Gandalf wouldn't be able to touch him), has wandless, wordless magic, and is extremely quick. Remember how quickly he was able to thwart Voldemort at the Department of Mysteries?

Gandalf is certainly not weak, but he lacks the speed and power of Dumbledore.

I haven't really seen enough from Gandalf for me to put him above most wizards from the Harry Potter series.

A single Avada Kedavra and Gandalf's done, there are dozens of spells we've seen in HP that could take down Gandalf.

if i remember correctly that gandalf wasn't allowed from his order to use most of his powers. You have to remember that sauraman was able to cause a blizzard. These guys can control the natural world like it anything. They are far more powerful than any of harry potter wizards. If they could go all out they will own all the other wizards. I'm pretty sure they are on the same level of wizarding power with the Earthsea from the books, not the movie.
