The Lovely Complex

* If you haven't gotten far into the manga/anime, pretty hard spoilers are present in this summary. I wrote anything and everything that is a description in this FC about Otani and Koizumi unless otherwise stated. So, please don't steal it and plaster it shamelessly all over your Lovely Complex fansite without crediting or contacting me. If you do such unholy acts, I will seek you down and harass. The first and third paragraph contain no spoilers! :-)

This story is a different and charming one. It is one of a boy and a girl. Koizumi is much taller than the average Japanese female and Otani is way shorter than the average Japanese male. In their high school, Maido Academy, they are known as "All Hanshin-Kyojin", their school's comedic duo. The original duo consisted of two people who have a similar height difference as Otani and Koizumi. Thus, their nickname was born.

Their relationship is spread throughout their four years of highschool and during that period of time, including summer school, they slowly get to know each other and Koizumi develops romantic feelings for Otani. Shortly following her realization of her liking for Otani, she confesses to him (after many failed attempts due to Otani's density to the situation). At first, Otani couldn't accept it and only thought of her as a friend that he can be stupid, yet friendly around. Later on, Koizumi keeps spilling her emotions, but Otani only shows mixed signals. And finally, as time goes on, he starts to feel the same way for Koizumi and eventually answers, "I do," to Koizumi's teary question, "Do you love me, too?".

Their relationship is a special one, that's for sure. It's obvious that they have established romantic feelings for each other, but they argue...often. To even it out, they usually forget about those tense feelings by obsessing over Umibozu (their favourite musical artist), going on "dates" absent-mindedly (they hang out a lot and don't acknowledge it as "dates") or doing whatever other activity that doesn't result in fighting. What they have is delicate relationship filled with complexities. Otani and Koizumi continue to live their lives to realize other things they may not have felt in the first year of high school.

This is a nicely made MMV made with Ulead Video Studios 10. After I watched it, I saw Otani and Risa on a whole new level. I was quite blown away by this video. The creator has a great usage of panels; and be wary, it contains spoilers for the manga. Video made by ajewell on YouTube.

2) "Everlasting Crush - "Am I crazy or falling in love?""
Another nice MMV to the song "Crush" by David Archuleta. Despite that the song is overused, this video is great. It's cute and portrays their relationship fairly well; both the humourous and serious sides. Video made by SummelBaerli on YouTube.

Heh, sorry for being slow everyone. This is my first time creating a FC so bare with me here. One important noob question, how do I create a member list and designate coowners, etc?

alanmh, you can take a look at some of the fanclubs i've created to get an idea of what the first post should look like (click sig)

just type "owner" and then your own username, then co-owner below to designate coownership, and then make a member list. when you go to edit the post, one of the options for the forum code designates a numbering system. you can add names that way
