Edit: Let me just remind everyone that this is not a 3rd season of Gundam SEED. Stargazer is a 3 episode sidestory that takes place after junius 7 fragments had hit earth during Gundam Seed Destiny. Each episode is 15mins long. Check here for the premise, they explain it better than I can

I'll watch this when the sub comes out and someone is nice enough to upload it for direct download. Lets hope its better than Seed, cause I didn't like that installment.

Ah i heard there was gonna be a new gundam season realeased around this season.. ill be sure to check it out when a sub of the first episode comes out

Having been able to watch the first episode of Stargazer, Its very impressive. The animation was great (no stock footage was used, its all brand new). Even though its only 15 mins long, the pacing was great, didnt seem rushed at all, it actualy felt appropriately long. Even though the mecha battles are taking a back seat to character development, the mecha fight show in this ep was great, there was an excellent battle between a Ginn and Edmund in a Linear Tank!

Ah, so the first of three episodes is out already. I guess I need to wait for the subbed version to come out.

And it really is 15 minutes long, too short if you ask me.

Just looked at the screencaps, and avoided the summary.

I have to say that the animation is quite good. Vibrant, that is. Which is good.

I just found out that "Stargazer" is a Gundam... a very um, lame-looking Gundam (All white?!) I wonder how it fares in battle. Maybe it's more than it looks.

It's an exploration Gundam. No guns or weapons and it doesn't even need a pilot. It's got an AI or remote control or something.

Wow, that felt like a 30 minute episode. Seriously, that's how a Gundam episode should be. Great pacing, awesome animation (love the character designs since they all the characters don't have the same faces), and the ambiance was just dark and amazing, just like how a war torn world should be. Can't wait for the next one already. ^^

So far so good.

I felt I was teased a little bit when they showed those 3 mobile suits at the very end. Strike Noir sounds pretty cool

And the story takes place during the time that Junuis 7 crashed into earth. That's a clever way of expanding that role. They didn't go into it in great detail in Seed and to have such a detail story now is great decision on their part.

Looking forward to episode 2.
