"Corny" and "annoying" would probably be more accurate descriptions than "good". Though honestly, I can't wait to see how they end up actually doing his rapping in the anime (and I haven't watched the anime in a couple years now).

In terms of "academically established" Romanization methods, only "Jūbi" (adhering to Hepburn) and "Zyûbi" (adhering to Nihon-shiki and Kunrei) are correct.

A Romanization of "Jubi" would be a permutation of the above Hepburn Romanization and is a style that is commonly seen in English publications (hence we have "Tokyo" and not "Tōkyō").

"Juubi", "Zyuubi", and "Jyuubi" would all be colloquial Romanizations seen commonly on the Intraweb. The first would typically be used by non-native speakers/learners of Japanese with a non-native (typically English-speaking) audience in mind, and the last two would typically be used by native Japanese speakers who just need to write Japanese in Latin characters for whatever reason.

For the Nine-tails, it'd be "Kyuubi" (Intraweb), "Kyubi" (English publication-style), "Kyûbi" (Kunrei or Nihon-shiki) , or "Kyūbi" (Hepburn). "Kuubi" would be a completely different word (and one that happens not to exist).

Another question: in chapter 467, when Madara replied to Darui who was astonished by the fact a man could have sealed something like the Juubi into the moon, Madara answered that since when he became the Juubi's Jinchuuriki he wasn't a mere human, anymore. Does that sentence imply he was the best for having sealed into him something like the Juubi, or is it that he was more than a human being because he had Juubi's power. What was meant?

I actually had a half-written translation of that chapter... here was my take on those lines:

Darui: Your story's gotten way too incredible... How could a human actually do that?
Madara: Having become host of the Ten-tails, the Rikudō Sage had already stepped beyond the bounds of humanity.


I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, to be honest, but in the context of the lines, I think it's clear that Madara is suggesting that Rikudō was able to do the whole moon thing specifically because he had *become* the Ten-tails jinchūriki. Whether this grandiose feat was allowed due to the Ten-tails' power itself or simply because the sage had ascended to a greater level of power through the trial of becoming the Ten-tails host is, I would say, not specified by the text.

In Chapter 430 when Pa-Toad Suggests that Naruto has Surpassed the Previous Generation in Reference to the Forms of Minato and Jiraiya that appear at Naruto's back when he destroys Asura Realm with Rasegan do Translators believe that the context of the actual Japanese implies that Naruto is now stronger then Jiraiya/Minato or that he surpassed them in another way such as in Mindset, Rasegan and Sage Mode, or some other quality. Or is Pa-toad's statement too ambiguous to tell one way or another.

Pa-Toad's Statement has made it quite the subject for debate on whether or not Naruto is Stronger then Minato now. So i was just wondering what a translator felt the implications were from the original Japanese. I believe this is the original Japanese:

Gammabunta, "じじ蛙。。。二人の懐かしい背中が見えんかったか？"

Fusaku, "そうじゃのう。。。"

Fusaku, "ナルトは先代を超えたようじゃのう。。。"
