One Piece is pretty much my favorite series out of everything else I've read. I like both shonen and shojo, but mostly I'm in for the shonen.
I also never get attracted to anorexic bishonen with glittery faces, I like huge muscley beefcakes much better.  So characters like Whitebard or Calgara =  If I can't see muscle I'm not interested. Yeah, I am kind of messed up.

I am a girl and I love One Piece. I didn't like it because the guys are good looking or that there is a chance of couples, but because of the story and what the manga represents. That Nakama are important and it doesn't matter who you are because you are yourself and you can't change it, just be yourself and you'll find your family.
It is so goofy, but serious at the same time, the scenes are fantastic, but not over the top, the understanding of each other and love that they share is wonderful. There are so many things about One Piece that are great, that pairings and good looks don't rule. I like it because stereotypes aren't pursued in this series, along with it the series shouldn't be expected to just have an average male demographic.

One Piece has easily become my favorite so far... and I'm female. Of course I also like Berserk, Bastard!!!, Detroit Metal City, etc. so I suppose I'm not typical...

I'm a girl and I'm a OP fan.
I can't say I like either manga more than any, because all of them have their ups and downs. By the way, Zoro and Luffy are actually big fangirl magnets.
