Does anyone feel like Ichigo doesn't FIT in the story anymore...?

Kubo's grasping at straws here, everybody. He had SS v.2, otherwise known as Hueco Mundo, just to have Ichigo remotely involved in Aizen's plans.

Ichigo has no reason to deal with Aizen, Kubo knows this and this is why this arc is never gonna end. He's just going to keep it going until he figures out what to do next.

What WOULD make it interesting would be if Orihime died by Aizen's hands or at his bidding, but I wouldn't want that just because then Ichigo's character development will be set back by 300 chapters and I don't want her to die, anyway

So yeah, Ichigo has to real reason to kill Aizen, though he probably will, but what more can we want from Kubo? He wrote a brilliant arc with SS, but now he just doesn't know what to do with it...

Maybe it's because he doesn't fit, but Ichigo's character itself has become very dull and boring to me ever since the HM arc. I'm about to take a break from the manga for a while because it's so bad right now.

Seconded, fights with no motives are lame and unreasonable. Fights where the characters have grudges or dislike one another make the fight more interesting.

Everyone keeps saying that Ichigo doesn't fit and that it would be better for Urahara or a Vizard to kill Aizen and that Karakura town is safe cause the 13 protection squads will save them.

Has anyone thought that maybe Aizen is in SS creating the King's Key already? We all know that his Shikai lets him choose what everyone sees so what if he isn't in the real work but in SS making the Key?

That senario would make Ichigo fit in perfectly would it not? And besides making Ichigo's family die would be a bit over the top wouldn't it, plus Ichigo's dad is Shinigami so he would protect Karin and Yuzu.

And with Urahara and Vizard thing, well if one of them were to kill Aizen it would be rather boring. You have Urahara who is most probably capable of killing Aizen in one shot (this can be found when Renji trains Chad). And the vizard consist of 5 ex captains and the rest vice captains, who have had 100 year to better themselves and they have the ability to go hollow so Aizen vs any of them would be capale to fight with him and there's like 11 of them so 11 on one will result in their win, assuming that Aizen doesnt go hollow.

And if Aizen can go hollow, it would be good to see Ichigo get is ass kicked and kicked and kicked untill somehow he beats Aizen and he gets his revenge.

the only time i thought ichigo's presence was quite relevent was during the SS arc tbh

even though his friend was kidnaped to hueco mundo, it still doesnt feel like he really needs to be there... dunno

Ishin will fill in Ichigo's importance to the plot, once Ichigo's origins are revealed and most likely he has some connection to the SS king, it will feel like the plot focuses on him again.


to be fair, kubo has dropped many hints about Ichigo throughout the story{his power is immense,he's just a human yet he's as strong as a captain level shinigami with Bankai, rukia only meant to give him half her power yet he took it all,Urahara says Ichigo had natural shinigami power and used rukia's power to awaken it, Byakuya mentions only SS nobility can achieve the power Ichigo has,Ichigo's metaphor as the "king" could be taken quite literally as in Ichigo is the actual king of SS or reincarnation w/e}

anyway yeah w/e Ichigo is or his origin is, kubo has dropped many little bits and pieces of info that would make it seem legit.
