Will Ao escape Fuu's Yamanaka Jutsu?

I say every man/woman is entitled to their opinion, and my personal opinion is that Ao WILL neutralize and/or escape Fu's jutsu.

-- Not a single one of the Bodyguards at the summit got "1-Hit-KOed". NONE. Ao is arguably one of the toughest, as well as the most experienced out of all the escorts. He may very well end up having the longest battle out of all of them.

-- As Bartallen stated in an earlier post, Ao's equipment has yet to be touched upon - most notably his Paper Tag earrings with the "hear" Kanji upon them. I highly doubt they exsist for mere decoration.


Overall: Ao is going to be a tough pill to swallow, regardless of whether Danzou attains his Byakugan or not.

I forget, could someone remind me, is there a time limit to the body switch jutsu?

As in, theoretically, could one live in the peron's body they take over for the rest of their life? Or does the jutsu still drain chakra after the switch, and eventually cause the user to have to switch back?

Fuu possessing Ao is one of the worst possible things that he could have done, in my honest opinion, and there are two possible points which I believe support Ao escaping:

• Fuu lacks the necessary control of the Byakugan like Ao can, and as such, it may tamper with his chakra control or exhaust him easily, which will probably cause the Jutsu to have a shorter time-frame, ergo, speeding up his exhaustion and the inability to maintain the Yamanaka Jutsu.
  
• Ino during the events of the Chunin Examinations had unleashed Shintenshin, relatively similar to that of Fuu's, upon Sakura, however, becuase of Sakura's willpower she was able to push Ino out.

P.S. Ao's curse tags on his ears may yet be of importance, here.

The greater the Jutsu, the greater the risk.

You made a rather brilliant point on chakra consumption, which could take it's toll on Fuu.

anyway, imo he's going pass Fuu. Whether it'll be Danzou or Torune that finishes him after is unknown to me.

I think he's been introduced as a mean to benchmark/hype Danzou. And even if they face eachother and both survive for some reason, Danzou will be teh victor with a big V.

I never thought that much of Danzou, i think we will see his true power in the up and comming chapters....

I mean... he has a sharingan eye, considering Kishi has basically written off the Byakugan with all this MS bullshit, he should'nt find it hard to get the byakugan lol.

Well, thats how i see it.

People seem to be underestimating Danzou a fair bit, think back to when he first revealed the Sharingan and killed those shinobi...

I dont think Danzou would bring weaklings to defend him, i think Ao will bite the dust.

^ Yes but there are some out there that believe that Ao will get 1-shotted by this Yamanaka Style Jutsu. Given the circumstances, Ao is likely to lose the upcoming duel, but this very jutsu Fu has casted upon him WONT be the nail in his coffin.

My reasoning for why Ao probably won't escape:

1. Fū was already motioning towards Ao's Byakugan in the last panel where he's shown. He's clearly about to rip the eye out. Ao's going to have to move fast to do anything, and that doesn't seem likely since he's flipping out at the moment.
2. Unlike in situations like Sakura overpowering Ino and Sasuke overpowering Orochimaru, Fū and Ao's consciousnesses aren't actually in the same body at the moment. With Ao ditched in some puppet, it seems impossible for him to even return to his body, let alone stop Fū from doing what he wants with it.
3. Ao's tags might be able to save him, but as far as we know, the tags' message "to hear" is not something to be afraid of.
4. Fū is a new villain in the story, introduced while Akatsuki's already running about, which means that he's in desperate need of hype.
5. One of the three strongest Root ninja > any Yamanaka.

Danzo needs to show us his true power, but at this rate, that can't happen. Ao has already fought Fū, which means he'll be weakened by the time he gets to Danzo, and Danzo winning will prove little.

It'd just speak poorly of Danzo's ability to choose bodyguards.

Shi - Sensed, healed, performed a genjutsu...got owned by genjutsu

Temari - Assisted in removal of Amaterasu's flames. Collaborated attack with SS + Darui on Sasuke before Susanoo

Kankuro - Assisted in removal of Zetsu spores. Colloborated attack with SS + Darui

Chojuro - Fucking slammed Sasuke through a wall with Susanoo armor.

Ao - You know.

Akatsuchi - Summons a fucking beastly golem that EATS Zetsu spore.

True.....but NOT before Shi was able to display any jutsu of his own. This is my reasoning behind Ao's high chances of getting past this jutsu; he has yet to show what's reserved in his arsenal. Everyone else that has participated in any fight at this summit have revealed techniques, even the Samurai.

Kurotsuchi had managed to prevent Zetsu's Hoshi no Jutsu by means of Doton.
