Are the Japanese Shippuden opening and closing credits shit?

I think the pre-timeskip anime credit songs were a lot more bearable than the Shippuden songs.
Now, every time I watch a Shippuden episode I skip the opening and closing credits, not because I'm impatient but because they are fucking unlistenable. The lyrics are usually horrible, the accents when they try to sing in English are horrible, a lot of the songs have no flowing rhythm whatsoever, and the melodies are boring. 90% of the time I feel embarrassed by the opening credits because they are so...bad.
The closing credits are a bit better, but a lot of the times it seems that they don't fit with the pacing of the episode.

What do you think?

I pretty much didn't like anything about part 1 for the most part.

There was like one or two Openings that were nice.

Shippuuden is alot better IMO. The current one is amazing

Endings suck for me in anything really. The current one isn't that bad though. Not great either.

The Shipudden ones have better animation; atleast, the recent one does.
I actually like most of the tunes for the openings; especially that one ending where they were in high school <3

I love the newest opening..
I've never really cared for the endings, but some of them are pretty catchy tunes, like the one with the scenes from Shippu! Konoha Gakuen Den. <3 I think the openings for Shippuden have been pretty good so far.. I get "Distance" stuck in my head a lot, and I really liked Bluebird; it's a shame that it got wasted on a filler arc, of all arcs! I don't think the animation has been bad, either. I've always loved Part I, and overall, I think the Part I anime is better than Shippuden (there are lots of Part I openings/endings I like, too... *too lazy to list them*^u^'), but I would never say that Shippuden has bad openings/endings, let alone say they're absolute shit.

Eh well, to each their own opinion.
