Man, I can't help but get a stupid grin every time Kenpachi laughs, fights or releases his reiatsu. It's just awesome to the point of being Godly. Even the animators think so! What with Ichigo and Renji's convo about Zaraki's zanpakto in the preview.

Though I don't know how to feel about Kenpachi using Getsuga Tenshou... I mean, he gathered his reitasu in his sword and fired it with a swing. Same principal as Getsuga Tenshou.

Great ep for me, I love Kenpachi and his showdown with Byakuya was so much fun.

He used the same kind of thing against Ichigo, well not against him but he cut a building in half with a swing of his sword

Pretty sure that wabisuke popping up behind ken' , swinging his sword at his shoulder and just having it "thud" dully, followed by ken's look at the sword then at him..

Though i wonder how they are going to bring back the zanpac's that were killed / defeated by people other then their owners. Reaaalllyyy dont see them giving the affected shinigami new powers / zanpac's.. Question is, will they use a semi-plausible idea of doing it(given whats been established so far), or simply fall back on the tried and true "plot hax" routine

I think that's pure speculation that Shinigami need to kill their own zanpakto. Renji, Ikkaku and Byakuya entered shikai without their spirits, and Hozukimaru wasn't even phased that Ikkaku can access his powers.

Both the spirits and the powers were born from the shinigami's soul. Just like when they first accessed those powers, I believe they can regain them the same way even if the spirit is killed by someone else or is still on the run. A same one would just be born from the shinigami like it was in the first place.

The one complaint that I have with Senbonzakura or rather how the animator's & author use Senbonzakura is that they don't seem to grasp the idea of vital or weak points.

For instance even if only a shikai attack is used to attack an opponent from multiple sides then wouldn't it be obvious that at least some of those blades would cut across areas such as: Eyes, Inner Ears (& if the opponent has their mouth open laughing/screaming then their inner mouth/throat) ?

To quote Kenny himself: "Whose eyes and throat can't even be cut, I haven't met someone like that my entire life"

Granted if Senbonzakura was used like this then quite a few of Byakuya's opponents would be missing eyes & have other disfigurements even if they did survive by some miracle.
