Hey Everyone!
So nice you guys are keeping teh thread going though there has not been much Gai. Hope you are all well. Thing are good here. Worked on a new game a couple of weeks ago. Recorded 2 sessons so there is plenty of Gai. Sam Regal directed this one and he was great! First time I had the chance to work with him. Also worked on a really big Anime movie but can't say any more than that. Keeping very busy looping. Just finished up on Digimon. Sorry to see it go. Thanks for all the kind words. So happy everyone here is enjoying what I do. Looking forward to getting back at it after the fillers. We're getting close. Take care everyone!

Ri No Gaisen: I was wondering precisely due to the fact the anime characters have precise 'mouthings' one has to fit in with. But also due to the fact, at least in Naruto, you're going to be in quite some funny episodes, so it may be hard not to 'lol' with some dialogs...
So I take the biggest problems for live/commercials are tongue-unfriendly words
We always laugh while recording. It just happens. It happens most when I am working with Mary or Jeff. Mary and I make each other laugh all the time and Jeff keeps me laughing the whole session. I swear, when I leave their sessions my jaw is always hurting. And yes, that is the biggest problem.
AJMkarate717: You must have had so much fun with those lines. Were any of them your own improvisation (like when you were laughing, and a "you know what I'm sayin'?" was thrown in)?
I throw very few of my own in and when I do I never remember. I'm fairly certain that line was written. The writers on Naruto do a fantastic job so there is rarely a need to re-write there stuff.
Dark Anbu: must say fillers are awesome I can't wait for the special one I would say what it is but uh it just Maito spoiler it for the holy Gaible fans lol XD All I am going to say it's a filler and a long time ago on this thread we showed you a picture and man you had the coolest comment for it. I remember you said something like I can't wait to see it but one day your know what I am talking about because it's a great episode
I think I know what your talking about. Mary and I were just talking about it the other day. Really looking forward to recording it. It should be a real laughfest.

Dark Anbu: Got to say rewatching cowboy Bebop again I still have hard time to believe you play Vicious
Oh if any one knows I Knew you play Ryu Skip in some of the street fighter movies but were in you in the same street fighter movie that Steve Blum played Ken in.
Because if so that amazing because the two of you make a great team or rivalry like Cowboy bebop. I think it was one of the Alpha movies that Steve Blum played Ken in.

Sorry couldn't resist. Steve and I cross paths all the time. One of my personal favs. Just a great guy. We actually worked together in Code a few weeks back. I assume I did because I don't know of anyone else playing Ryu.
