To install you need your windows cd. Go to your control panel, and your regional and language options. Then click the languages tab at the top, then click the checkbox for Install Files For East Asian Languages and press ok. Insert the cd, and give it a minute. There you go. To type in Japanese go to the same thing, go to languages tab, but click the details button at the top. Click add, now select Japanese, and Microsoft IME. Press ok

Now go to MS word, or anyother program and click the EN in your language bar and change to JP. Now click the A symbol and change to hiragana or katalana. Now just type in romaji, and it auto-converts as you type. Press spacebar for list of kanji. Shortcut keys for switching languages are left alt + shift and left alt + shift + 0

Don't worry about the hald-width stuff, its just smaller text just use hiragana or katakana. Press spacebar and choose the appropriate kanji from the list of possible kanji.
涵養 - Cultivation (kanyou)
レア - rare (rea)
ティ - tea (tei)
