Which is better? Vandread or Gundam?

I've never seen a whole episode vandread (just a few clips), i like gundam more cause thats what i grew up on and i think is cooler

First of all, eventhough both of them are mecha, they are both very different.

Vandread is like a cynical parody of what earth might look like in the future, while all the Gundam series (G Gundam may be an exception) focus more on the serious aspects of mankind and what it's actions might bring about.

Only seen bits and pieces of Vandread episodes to I can't really tell, but I'm a die-hard gundam fan and when I say I love gundams above all else, I mean it. :)

Gundam is entirely superior on all aspects except comedy.

gundam of course...

but then again both series should not be compared with each other because they are completely 2 different shows... just as mindless says, gundam is a more serious show that focuses on deeper topics. and vandread, well its really more of an anime that you watch if you want to be entertained...

vandread is a great show for what it is... but gundam is simply greater.
