I've noticed several threads about Nintendo's Wii-mote and it's variations.

Currently, it's variations are the Wii-mote, the Nun-chaku arrangement, the Classic arrangement, and

The Gun arrangement. I think it looks win.

The Classic looks awesome, since it can handle any of the old school games, and there is talk that the Wii-mote will snap on to the back of the Wii-mote, thus no cables.

The Nun-chaku arrangement seems to have extended their cord:

Also, that's the way you hold a Wii-mote. Not waving it around...unless the game calls for it.

Man, I cannot wait!

I wans't really excited when i first saw the new controller, but Nintendo's stuff seems to be growing one me... quickly.

The gun attachment doesn't even have a decent trigger

Oh, come on now. Did you really think they were going to include a trigger? Think of the lawsuits!

So far, I think this is awesome.

I just find it interesting that the "gun" attachment looks nothing like a gun. It even lacks the non-violent aspects of the pistol that makes it so much easier to wield.

The handle for one thing looks like it would just be a pain to use. It isn't designed to fit in the palm at all.

And I still get the feeling that Nintendo is reluctant to drop its more kid-friendly feel. Even the NES light gun was more of a gun than this! And it was ORANGE.

Here's to hoping the final design will change.

What was wrong with the old NES Light Gun????

I think they should just remake the old gun and make it wireless
(keep it orange and white...lol)

This one looks more like a shotgun though. 2 hands.

If it had a pump to really make it feel like a shotgun that would've been worth it
