the sonic for Ps3 just looks like better graphics and the same type of control i played on Dreamcast. really nothing new but this sounds like it is great.

Geez, it's just going to be another cliche' Sonic game where he goes Super at the end. Not that I mind/won't play or anything, but... I would seriously like to see the following in a Sonic game:

- Ultra, Solar, Eco, Tundra Sonics, there hasn't been crap about the Super Emeralds in years. I hardly know much about it.

- Turbo Tails

- Hyper Knuckles

- Scourge/Super Scourge (though I hardly saw any Scourge so far)

- Mighty the Armadillo (The most important member of the Chaotix isn't even in the new games! I mean, this is Knux's right hand man, before the comic plot started going complicated, and Sonic's childhood friend!)

- Sonic's parents. There should seriously be a game where he tries to turn his father to his normal form without him dying of his injuries.

- The Red Emeralds (normal Chaos Emeralds are supposed to be green, not different colors) which once seperated Sonic from don't-care-about-good-or-evil Super Sonic

- Antoine, it'll be good to have a swordsman in the game, even if he probably sucks

- Either have Robotnik be a bad guy for the whole game, or a good guy from the start. And he's not freakin Eggman.

- Sally Acorn and Fiona the Fox. Amy isn't the only girl in Sonic's life.

- Amy's cousin, Rob O' the Hedge.

let me laugh at that for a while, the ps3 version could very well be better, but without actually playing on either, you come to the conclusion that ps3 version is better than Wii's because it sounds better :laugh , seriously if i could use more smilies to suggest how funny i find that i would, just know that that made me hit my desk in laughter.

Exactly, i could back up why i think the Wii version will be pretty tight.

At the moment sega has been developing the same sonic game for ages and ages using the same foundation, so when it comes to creativity they are probably a little bit stale and board with how they are working.

With the Wii, they will be able to test out new ideals for it, sparking the imagitive and inovative side to many of the developers.

So in a sense the Wii version could draw maximum work and attention in the creation of the game.

^ the ps3 controller is not like the Wiis at all it only has 6 degree motion senseing and the Wii mote is fully 3d space.. sorry but you cannot do that on the PS3 controller it only has tilt functionality witch is in the analog num chuck of the wii mote.

Um sorry to burst your bubble, this game is also comming on xbox 360 meaning that it will be developed to go with a standard control, they are not going to change it for sonys purposes, they might even do it for spite.

The game that is on Wii is strictly for Wii, sega have known of the control ideal for a while, so they would have though of ways to use it.

Even now, i dont acknowledge ps3 control ideal, it isnt bad, but i dont see developers utilizing it the sameway they will with the Wii. With the ps3, it seems as though they will just cram shit for it, Wii they will make games for it.

Besides the Wii controller is far superiour in terms of technology in it, the ps3 motions acts like the left hand side of the controller, it can not hope the compete with the right hand side.

We didn’t saw anything from that new sonic game to the wii, in the video I saw the game looks exactly like the xbox and ps version, looks the same game.

Cool, while we saw the game in movement on the ps3 and xbxo 360 we didn’t saw anything from the sonic for wii so we can’t say who is better, I find stupid people here saying one is better than the other. Its too soon, maybe both games will suck.

its not graphics that really push sonic its the speed and what not look at the adventure games or Sonic rush for DS. I honestly think that the Wii mote will revive sonic IMO.

Pretty much any 3D Mario game can. There was too much variety in SA2, and that detracted from the quality of each play style. The game didn't have much style, apart from the music.

^Haha, mario 64 was a few steps behind and sunshine was utter shit. Maio ds was a port, so no, no 3D game from mario beat it...then again this is my opinion.

Mario sunshine was better in terms of quality then the sonic adventure games.

and Mario galaxy looks like it will take that step farther.

There aren't many decent 3-D Sonic Games (Only for the Dream Cast). This Sonic game looks marvelous. I might buy it, I'm not sure. But people have been giving this game good responses.

That's strange, because I thought SA2 was one of the worst Sonic games in recent memory, or at least worse than SA1. Having 4 characters with boring ass levels (Tails, Eggman, Knuckles, Bat chick) just ruined the game.
