I'm a NaruSaku, NejiHina, SasuNaru and KakaSaku fan first and foremost, but I enjoy many pairings. As you might be able to tell from some of the pairings I mentioned, a lot of them are very crack XD

Shikamaru and Temari << LOL From the start you can tell that they were just meant to be. Shikamaru always gets what he doesn't want. Even though he don't want to stand out, he's the only one out of the Konoha Genin to become Chuunin. He's lazy yet he's done heaps of work (LOL at the time he was faking sleep) and now it's easy to see that Temari is the perfect G/F. Besides the above, they both complimet each other anyway. Temari: Bossy, active > Shikamaru: "not" bossy, inactive (lazy).

Other favourite pairing... Naruto and Hinata. Screw Sakura. Naruto has always been there for Sakura for physical and emotional support but she only realises Naruto's "qualities" in the absence of Sasuke. That just proves how arrogant she was/is. Hinata on the other hand has always realised these "qualities" of Naruto and she absolutely admires him for them. Plus they compliment each other. Naruto: Outgoing, loud, confident > Hinata: Shy, quiet, not so confident. Besides they look cute together anyway. Naruto's cheeky smile + Hinata's blushes = cute!

What you are about to read is from what I used to ship, to what I ship now. (Please give good reps) and also, feel free to show me what YOU used to ship and what you do now. I'll start off.


At the beginning, Naruto was a show I had never seen, It had ninja's so I was like "Freakin sweet!" but then came the ordeal of love for each character. I will admit the following.

As soon as Ino was intriduced, I immediately said "Wow, she looks cool, I think she'd be a good match with Sasuke" but then Iruka put them all into different groups, ironically, she wasn't.

Then came Sasu/Saku. I said, "They're both cool, I guess I would'nt mind them on a couple." But, after witnessing Saura's lack of ability and Sasuke's constant critisism of her beings worse than Naruto, I figured, It wouldn't work.

Ahh, then came Naru/Saku. Naruto is the main guy correct? He SHOULD, get the main girl. I also read the Manga, but It still doesn't add up to all the times she's pummeled our hero. Plus, I personally don' like Sakura. I don't hate her, I think she can be a sweet girl, but when Kakashi said she might be stronger than Tsunade, I almost gaged.

Next came Naru/Hina. I personally love this pairing, but ACCORDING TO SOME PEOPLE (not me) Kishimoto wants Naruto with Sakura and his co-workers want him with Hinata. It's his decision so honestly I have no clue. Why I support this you ask? Well, I thought that it'd be nice to have a pairing where the girl didn't kick the guys ass all the time. BUT, lack of social interactivity may make him never notice her.

Here is another. Ino/Chouji. Now I know your gonna get mad at me, but please hear me out! Don't look down on Chouji because he's fat. He's a good ninja and I think he deserves a beautiful girl. They still hang out with each other, so theres still a chance.

Shika/Temari. I supported this after he fought her in the Chunnin exams. They both always kinda teased each other about who's right, and who's wrong. PLus, they helped each other fight Tayuya?

Shika/Ino. It'd work, they've known each other for a while, I guess eventually Shika would fall for Ino, but you never know.

Neji/Hina- I guess since they have the same last name in the family, cousin x cousin isn't a prob, but in my opinion *throws up*

Neji/Sakura- WTF?

Itachi/Sakura......Now don'tget me wrong, I find it.......cute that you wanna put a frail pink haired girl with a hard core S-Rank Hidden-Nin, but have they even met? Fan-fics do not count.

Kakashi/Kurenai I loved this pairing, but she's in love with Asuma! Come on Kurenai! Kakashi take off your mask and show her that you out rank Asuma!!!

Kakashi/Anko I think it's okay. Anko's cute, Kakashi's cool, what more to say?

To the best of my knowledge and research I've pulled up and listed chapters and episodes from the series which may hint such a pair. This relationship has enough evidence of actually happening, but the thing is will Kishi make it happen or when will he make it happen rather than just keep leading us on?

Maybe they were just accompanying each other but there's no doubt in their relationship.

Having a relationship between nins from different villages is fine. Take Minato Namikaze (Naruto's father and 4th Hokage of Leaf) and Uzumaki Kushina (Naruto's mother and kunoichi of the Whirlpool Village) for example.

Well actually, the Japanese prefer to make pairings that make some sense i.e. where the characters actually have some interaction with each other and not things out of the blue (like Sakura x Itachi, for example). It's more the western fandom who makes up those pairings just by looks or for reasons whatever.

The Japanese also like to keep everything intra a given group by the manga. That explains why ShikaIno is almost as popular as ShikaTema and why KibaHina is more popular than NaruHina. People like to pair the teams under another more than just pair the character with another character outside of the team. Of course there are exceptions, such as NejiHina, but then again, they are in the same family, so you could call that an "intra given group" as well.

BTW, that doesn't only count for the rookie 9, but also the Akatsuki pairs :P !
