So I finally cought up with the series, but one thing I don't understand. According to the last 2 episodes, Takano did everything she did because she wanted to immortalize her grandfather by creating an outburst of the Hinamizawa syndrome that'll validate his research and render it true, yet at the end of the last arc she had everyone in the village killed in confinement and silenced the whole thing up, resulting in the only one who knew the reason to the disaster being her.

Did her personality differ between the two worlds like Ooyshi did once, or is it something else?

The people in charge knew of it. She had to have approval to execute the plan. It's only a secret to the public. Even still the disaster was so big that it was impossible to completely cover up; Akasaka pretty much figured out that the disaster wasn't natural.

By taking such drastic measures such as slaughtering 2000 residents, proves how serious and important Hinamizawa Syndrome is.

I own two Windows desktop computers; one can play mkv and one can't. Both of them run XP and use Media Player Classic. Unfortunately, my main and favorite computer is the one that can't. I still haven't been able to figure out why one can play mkv while the other can't.

Luckily I also own an external drive where I keep all my anime so I can port them to the computer that will let me view mkv.

It is not Mkv files, but the MKV files that are encoded with h264 or X264 and resolutions higher than 704x396. You need a computer of at least 2000mhz to run anything smoothly at higher than 704x396. This weekend I plan to upgrade my computer to 3000MHZ because even at 2000MHZ sometime resolutions higher than 704x396 give me lag when downloading stuff.

Higurashi is a great series that deserves that kind of exposure. A lot of people dismiss it thinking it's just another bloodfest. As for trolls, there aren't many. Most people who watch it, like it. Higurashi is very popular on Animesuki, /a/ and OT (GameFAQs board). Despite being so popular you don't see many people who hate it.

On myanimelist 971 people are currently watching Kai and 34 have dropped it. That's 3.38%

Gurren Lagann has 807 watching, 837 complete and 67 dropped. That's 3.91%

Lucky Star has 1154 watching, 1247 complete and 228 dropped. That's 8.67%

Kai has a better percentage than Gurren Lagann and Lucky Star and most of its drops are from people who haven't seen season one.

About episode 16, the "Habeas Corpus" had been broken in science and research by Miyo-chan and she seemed to enjoy that. Another thing is, I wonder if those people going crazy was a coincidence or Miyo-chan had a role in their sudden disease. I also wonder if this crime was happening during a Hinamizawa festival, I'm too lazy to check what happened during those 4 years before Higurashi. But if this murder happened, and Miyo-chan wasn't the culprit and it was only a huge coincidence, we can deduce the virus only spread during the first day of summer, and the festival was created to ensure people safety being far from the spot of contamination.
I wonder if it was Satoko's father who was fighting during the reunion, because the Houjou family is most likely a warrior clan.
Satoshi-kun is at least honest with Irie sensei when he admitted his sister was an obstacle for his happiness and safety. I really don't think he was protecting her according to his attitude and behaviour.
Hanyuu constantly apologizes during the episode, but she shows some fighting spirit at the end of this episode when she talked to Rika.:nod

Let's say world 1 is her first world. She does nothing special in A, B, C and dies in D.

She's reborn and starts at A. This time she does something different in A, B and C but is still killed at D.

World 3: A-----B-----C-----D

Hanyuu's power is weakened and now she starts at B. What she did in world 2 A happens in all future worlds. She tries something different in B, C and dies again at D

Now she starts at C. Her A and B actions have already been decided from previous worlds and Hanyuu doesn't have the power to redo them.

1/ Post on all anime forums you know about you love Rena. Craft the posts so you sound like a fucking retard (much like the REAL rena fags) and turn the most people you can against you by being really obnoxious. This is for fueling an anti-rena sentiment amongst the anime-watching population.

2/ Infest Rena supporting thread and dispatch false information about the voting system, the brackets, the process. Make them feel like a new Rena win has been secured and that they don't need to vote.

3/ Secretly campaign for a massive vote for whoever Rena is up against. Call your friends, your parents. Vote as much as possible. Ask people to code autovoting bots, or code them yourself. Remember that some fake votes make it through.

With all these steps and the help of our Goddess Haruhi, who is in her Heavens, we will smite the Renafags and their fucking idol.
