The first volume is VERY good. The second one is subpar.

The first one is a lot more interesting in terms of the characters and how they play with each other. The main villain is also set up better, and most of the action is a lot more logical and cooler. I'd highly recommend it.

Yup the 1st comic is what the League movie should really have been like, instead of adding in crappy things like 'Tom Sawyer' and 'Dorian Gray'

The whole point of the league is Elizabethian literature, not anything else!
