Suikoden 3: The Successor of Fate

Is very good. Try to imagine an RPG in a manga format. I love the game, and this manga is as good if not better than the game.

I'm not alone! Yes, the manga definetly has the better story, and is pretty enjoyable.

Suikoden 3 is bascially a medieval-ish, fantasy manga/game. Knights, mages, lizardman, elves, dwarfs...in the game you can recruit 108+ characters.

That i don't know, but i think there are two to three more volumes to go (there is currently four volumes available in Amarica). It only ten bucks a volume, although in Japan is like three to five dollars a volume. I even heard of a 100 yens manga stores over there. That must be paradise for those bastards over there, damn, i have to move to japan, and learn it language as soon as possible.

I personally think Suikoden 3 was the best yet, and i'm looking foward for the 4 title to arrive here soon, not to mention Xenosaga II.

you should try the game, I bet suikoden 3 will stop producing the games and making them rare as hell to find. I tried buying suikoden 1 on ebay, i bidded, then i chek the next day and it is in the hundreds! damn!

I have all three games thank God. But yeah, they're all rare and expensive by now. Suikoden 2 is the best IMO.

I have all 4 volumes so far...I usually buy them at Hastings or Borders. They usually cost from $8-$10.

When I picked up this manga at the book store near my house (I'm an avid Suikoden game fan) I didn't know how good it would be, I was just getting to bulk up my collection of Suiko merchendise. Little did I know that this would be one very, very, excellent manga. Seriously, it's easily one of them best I've ever read and is worth atleast being carefully looked over at the store. ^^

Any fan of fantasy manga will really, really, enjoy it.

:3 I haven't heard of any groups scanlating it, except Aku-tenshi, but they dropped it after it was licensed. I think they only got up to Vol 1 Chap 2. And if you want to Dl those old old old chaps they released, you prolly have to go on IRC on that.

Yeah the manga is real good, powerful and fun. It is MUCH more understandable if you have played the video games (or at least have background knowledge of the series) beforehand.

For the record, I was one of the few who played suikoden 1 back in 1996, so im a long time fan!. I was 10 years old lol. Go me!

I thought Suikoden 3 was brilliant, it was almost as good as S2....

Though the manga is serious genius. ^^ It's wonderful for lovers of the games, or even those who've never heard of the series. It's a great, great, great manga.

edit: As far as I know TP has only released up to Vol. 3 here in the states. O_o Doesn't the fourth come out in April?

Nope. The Suikoden III has been released till Volume 5 in North America, and Volume 6 is due on May 10, 2005 (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?page=product&productid=2798). :D
