When they Dub Bleach

Make Ichigo's sister that looks like boy, a boy.
Rename Ichigo, Matt.
Change the setting so that it actually takes place on a bleach.
Cut out all of the swords and oh, the hollows are scarely and so they have to go also.

I think It is to do with his hair, there's nothing else I can think of that would make any sense. Unless of course the mangaka has a strange fondness for cleaning toilets :blink

Yeah, but American producers didn't think that adults or teenagers would watch the series because it looked to be like a kid show like pokemon. The show is really, really dark and they freakin' cut the damn first season out completely because it was too dark. I hear they are releasing the first season on DVD uncut.

Bleach has nothing (and it is a absolute) to do with Ichigo's hair. His hair is not dyed and he would so own you if you said that. He doesn't like when people in the manga and anime say his hair isn't natural and he does something to it.

I don't think you guys have to worry about Bleach being "ruined" when it's dubbed, since it's not serialized in the Shonen Jump it will most likely be a DVD only release, and will never see the light of day on US TV, except maybe on Adult Swim or The Anime Network, and in either case you don't have to worry, 'cause those networks air pretty much uncut anyway...

Other than that, seeing as how Bleach doesn't have that many episode, and that it'll more than likely be a 100+ episode series, I doubt it'll be licenced anytime soon, especially since there isn't a lot of money in it right now...

Well Bleach is done by Viz, but I guess they won't serialize it in the US Jump(It is in the weekly jump) seeing as how they already had one of the preview things(I think they did) as they did with Beet for an issue in the US Jump

Bleach should be quite popular in Japan if I remember correctly, the manga that is. Not sure how well the anime is doing. So it might do well in the US.

I don't know if anyone answered this or not, in the english translation of the manga Ichigo makes a reference to people calling his hair bleached.
