Say you took the characters from the hit television series Lost and threw them into the "ring" all I'm gonna kill you style... who is strongest? Who is most battle hardened? Who would survive longest in a war against those "Others" that everyone keeps talking about? Rank the castaways (minus that French woman) in a whose-stronger-than-who list. Do it... by saying who would survive longest in a gorilla warfare type of situation with the "Others". Why? Because its 5-fucking-AM, that's why. Here's mine:
1. Mr. Eko - Admit it, he's just about the scariest guy on the show. And he's been known to kill others. Fuck yes, Mr. Eko! Fuck yes!
2. John Locke - Throws fucking knifes like he's Bill the Butcher or something. Knows all about tracking and survival, and he seems like a pretty crafty type of guy. Could probably take a few down Rambo style (and I don't mean the exploding arrows).
3. Sayid Jarrah - He's got some military training. I'm sure he can use it. Maybe it doesn't give him an edge against Locke in the jungle, but he's probably a decent shot and what have you.
4. Jin-Soo Kwon - This guy can look at you and you'll die. He's pretty intense. A very good conterpart for Mr. Eko, I think. Plus he's done all that strongarm stuff, so he won't freak the fuck out at the sight of blood or something. I figure he knows enough to hold his own.
5-6. Kate Austen & Dr. Jack Shephard - Normally I would put Kate in front, but I have to give Jack some credit here. When they were all roped up in that net in that one episode he proved himself to be a pretty damn good shot. Plus he's a guy and thus stronger than a woman. This puts him even with Kate in my book. who has the edge, it seems, in navigating the jungle.
7. Ana-Lucia Cortez - Police officer. Only reason I put her here. I, personally, am not impressed by her. She seems prone to killing and suspecting the wrong people. She'd probably kill herself by accident.
8. James "Sawyer" Ford - Although some would rate him higher, he's a complete noob outside. He freaks out over things like frogs and shit. Not to mention he's gotten his ass kicked by Kate when he tried to stalk her.
9. Hugo "Hurley" Reyes - Though Hugo is a fatass, and sometimes prone to clumsiness, at least he's not afraid to get out there. And he did beat the shit out of Sawyer in that one episode. I imagine that Sawyer could get the jump, and therefore the advantage on Hugo in a kill or be killed type of environment.
10. Sun Kwon - She has a garden and that makes her earthy. Despite never showing it on the show, she doesn't seem to be the type that'll shirk away from getting her hands dirty.
11. Michael Dawson - Seems to be a blundering idiot outside. Maybe if Walt's life was on the line he'd be able to take a shot to the face and still go after it, but I imagine he's just prey. In fact, I'd rate Walt higher if I thought the kid had in him the capacity to kill.
12. Libby - She can follow Hurley into the woods and somehow remain unnoticed by him. That counts for... nothing.
13. Charlie Pace - What a fucking noob! He's out of shape, clumsy, brash, and seems to be prone to dying. He rates higher than Claire because she's stupid enough to follow him around and Walt because Walt doesn't seem to have killing in his nature (unless we get to count the dog as part of Walt?).
14. Claire Littleton - Claire follows even Charlie around. Yeah, she dies right along with him.
15. Walt Lloyd - Poor kid. Poor, poor kid. Someone has to come in dead last.
Good God, I'm proud of my list.
