This "tutorial" will tell you how to get this kind of results with a few tricks,
using the various coloring tools of the photoshop. =]

( not the best coloring, more like the quickest =P )

Preparations

Prepare your background. Doesnt belong to this tut, search the others for it ..
this will only tell you how to get the colors to the sig.

Good music to background, to raise the spirits and all =P
A decent gfx'er always has something to entertain the ears

Step one - Gradient map the colors

Just see what i did and dont forget to check the rounded blending modes too.

Getting the Gradient Map (http://img458.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheet11jo.jpg) Gradient editor, pick your colors now! (http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheet22wm.jpg) Change your blending mode to color (http://img213.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheettogradientmap7nx.jpg)

Step two - Photo Filter

Follow the images and pay extra attention to brushing over the layer mask. Remember to read it and remember the blending modes.
And remember, you *dont* have to use the yellow, pic anything that fits

Apply the Photo Filter (http://img458.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheet36ap.jpg) Set up the Photo Filter (http://img353.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheet45ag.jpg) Brush over the layer mask to disable the changes (http://img399.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheettocoloradv7fv.jpg)

Step three - Balance the Colors

Follow the links in order and repeat what i did.
Get good values by measuring the changes in the sig with your own eyes

Balance the colors (http://img353.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheet51kf.jpg)
Put the blending mode to "screen" and lower the opacity to 50-60% (http://img353.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sheet61bk.jpg)

And this is how i did this one ^^ , i hope it helps.
Simple, well it's up to you ... but efficient, atleast to me.
Colors arent limited at all, just color balance as you wish and you'll get million of colors ... unlimited reserves.

Yeah, i think this suits you really nicely =3

Not the colors. =3

And photoshop is used for every tag i've ever made, cinema4d is just a tool to make abstract shapes and stuff.
And not like i use it one and every tag, no no ^^

*fiddles with settings*

Hm. Yet one more thing I can't do because my Photoshop is too old.
I do not appear to HAVE a 'gradient map' setting. (I need to upgrade sooo bad.)

I hate the Adobe corp sometimes. Where the hell did my eyepatch go..... :ninja

Cool tut, very detailed methods of adjusting colours. Should also adjust the hue/saturation and channel mixer to bring out even more colours? XD

^ .. and the levels after it 8D

But yeah, without a doubt, it'd be a nice thing to do if that aint enought or you just want different kind of results, or just wanna play with it to get more radical looks with it and so on. But for this sig it wasnt needed much, so i didnt use it. :P
