I used to have lots of nightmares when iwas a kid, as doo most of us.
now i only have a nightmare in which i see my moms death over and over... and i cant do anything.
The strange thing is that when it happened i was on the otheer side of the world and had a strange dream of her saying goodbye
My brother too... but with him i dreamt that we were having a party.
I always dream when something is going to happen, even when a friend of mine died of aids i dreamt about him.
Some say i have psychic abilities that pick up on my dream waves frequency level

I remember my dreams only about once a month, and they're usually pretty trivial. Unfortunatly, if I have a good one, it always ends right as I get to the good part. Trade off is, I get no nightmares :) Last time I had a nightmare, I was lucid dreaming, and that turned out to be a hell of a lot of fun, running away from a tornado until I hit my head on the wall. It's creepy, controlling your body while you see something else. The worst I ever had, a looong time ago was drowning. I used to SCUBA dive, so that's a big fear of mine. Otherwise, it's going into a flatspin at 500 feet while flying. That's no fun.

Must've been one hell of a nightmare, only time I was frozen from fear is when the house door opened at 3am, thought it was a robber, I was 11 at the time. Creepy feeling, you tell your body to move and it doesn't. Turned out it was 6pm and my dad came home from work, I don't know how I lost track of time that easily...

My body has a clock it follows, depending on what is going to happen the day after... I automatically wake up at 5:30 on a school day(Maybe go to the Gym, work out/swim), and 9:30 on a weekend. But when I'm at home, it sleeps for 13hours. Always, but that's probably because I never go to sleep 'till 5:30 am...

I had a nightmare of sorts. I tried to punch this guy that always ticks me off (not intentionally, its one of those people who you cant stand and acts like an idiot but doesn't know they are doing it) and whenever I'd try to punch him my hand would get extremely heavy and my punches wouldn't do any damage to him. I'd keep swinging and like..an inch away from his face it would be like he had a barrier of glue/blob that slowed my hand down.

Last time I had a nightmare I nearly died because when I woke up I can't breath.dude that happened to me to i was heckka scared. in my dream i went to a carnival and me and my baby cousin (shes 6 now but then i still cal her my baby cousin) well we went on a roler coaster and it was on a cliff she shot out of her seat and then she landed in the water and then the rest of the dream was just me watching her drown in my dream i kept on crying throughout the whole thing cause i coldn't save her and then when i woke up i couldn't breathe and when i calmed down i realized my cheeks were wet.

Should be easy to tell yourself that it's not real, a Bazooka is not an Anti-Personnel Weapon, it's an Old WWII anti tank weapon :) No more fear :P
Plus the fact that you should tell your brain that you can't dodge them anyway, because a Rocket-Propelled weapon like that goes too fast for even minimum human reaction time of 1/5th of a second :P

My worst nightmare? ooohhh.... now sit back and listen. it all started with me walking to school. I was talking to my friends until all of the sudden a light shot out of nowhere. I then relized i was by myself. I started walkingg down the road until I came apon a old cathedraol. I enter the cathedroal to find at my surprise many statues of people unknown. Some of the statues are anime characters. Then I here .Hack music playing. the creepy music from the show and game. I just keep walking. I for some reason go to one statue that so happens to have a tunnel underneath. After i go through the tunnel everything starts to go all messed up. the wall is being ripped into another dimension. then i found myself on what seems to be a endless giant great wall of china. Then there it is. there is a creature hidden behind shadows and i cannot see it. then theres another that seems to be an angle. I start running trying to reach the end but I'm then stuck in, what seems a bubble with millions of symbols. then random memories appear before me. that's when i wake up. i have never got to the end of the wall. i keep having this dream to. can anyone figure out whats going on?

My worst nightmare was Naruto getting licensed. Okok maybe not worst. My worst was Saddam chasing me with an AK. I killed him with a Mp5 though. I played too much CS that day.

dreams doesnt always need to have a real concept, i pretty much dream about anything unrealistic and have a hazy memory afterwards *rubs head* ...bleh...

I had my worst nightmare a few years ago. In it, my body started to decay while I was still alive. All of my teeth cracked and broke apart like chalk. I ran to one of my aunts for help but she couldn't understand a word I was saying (due to the lack of teeth).

When I woke up the next day, I ran to the bathroom and checked to see if my teeth were okay.

my old step dad comes in and starts messing with my mom, i see him and come off the practice floor and throw him out a window, I then procede to bat the hell out of him and kill him...but I cant stop and I end up killing everyone inside.

freud himself says that dreams are there to make wishes come true, to satisfy us and not to wake us up during the time. (also help us sort the information we've have taken in from the day, and let us survive ect.)

that dreams are dayrests and things that have happend before, and that we have symbols in our dreams that can help us figure out the purpose of the dream.
and if we don't dream while sleeping, we can react different on things. (there is evidens for that.)

freud says that in our soul we have a censoring that stops us from dreaming what ever we want. dreams like flying or riding a horse slips by, but dreams about sex and madness don't slip by. so how do theese kind of dreams slip through then?

number one: they disguises themselfs and makes the censoring believe it's something else.
numer two: things in reality that don't belong to the same thing end up in the same dream. ex: fear of blood and interest of art becomes a painting.
number three: something that's importent to you end up in the background, and things that aren't importent to you get your attention.

and another thing he says is that if a person is having a nightmare, like he's being killed, then maybe that person himself wants to kill someone, but that he don't know that. that it is in his unconsciousness.

anyway. my biggets nightmare is when I sleep and feel some kind of feeling that grows and grows until it feels like i'm going to die.
another one is that I once dreamed and couldn't breath after waking up. (someone was chocking me.)
I have lucid dreams as well, and now I can controll myself in my dreams. hard to explain. I can do whatever I want in my dreams, decide it myself and when I want to wake up, I just do it ect.
I remember all my dreams, and sometimes I write it down, just to analyze it.

I'm always dreaming. Like...99% of my dreams are nightmares. I don't know why I get them, and sometimes I can't even remember them, I just do.

I remember having one where I was in a room, which got raided, and I was made to watch all of my friends, and the people I care about die infront of me...It was horrible. This person had a hold of me, and they were all being slaughtered and....bleh.

I also once had a dream where I was strangled by a noodle....

Uhm this one is weird.

Me, a girl i liked and my family were running through a feild with piled up cars and they were all on fire and stuff and all crashed and there was zombies from resident evil there and my brother got taken by the zombies and eaten then we went to some mountain thing where i met master cheif from halo and he was shooting the zombies so i helped him for a bit and he said make a run for it and i went to a car but then my mum and her boyfreind got killed by zombies and then me and the girl i liked got into the car ready to drive off. The car wouldnt start when i turned the key so we went back up to the mountain and asked master cheif if there was another way out. He said theres a gatekeep in a hidden room in the girls showeroom so i went there and the girl i liked opened the hidden door and i went down into a dark room and there was this freaky type girl from the ring and she asked me questions to make the zombies go away and i got the last one wrong and she took a picture of me and i was stuck there forever and she put my picture on the wall with the other pictures of her victims.

Weird dream: i once was on an aeroplan flooded with giant baked beans and teeth. :|

dont think i have a worst nightmare...cuz all the ones i had in this one summer kept improving from the day before. most of them involved me trying to fight off monsters to people i know in real life. the sceneries different, but all end in the same result. i end up getting killed and suddenly waking up sweaty

As a kid, i had the weirdest nightmare ever.
It's the sea, the rain is falling from the sky, and everything is gray.
There is a concrete bridge with iron cylinders on the sides.
I walk out on it, and suddenly, there is Hitler on the bridge. beside him stands Goebbels, with a machine gun, and they force me down on the iron cylinders, which starts to spin, and i have to struggle to not fall into the water, but eventually, i did, and that's when i woke up.

I dreamt this like 15-20 times when i was younger.

its 1 am and a lil cold and windy outside, my cousin rings the door bell and i meet him outside.. he tells me to hop in tje jeep.. strangly enough i do what he said without questiioning.. as we drive in dead silence we reach the opening of a cave. he then says "were gonna go in" i stayed quite.. as we drove more and more inside.. we found disgusting looking rats were all over... then cats chasing rats.. then cats with no eyes that looked like they were in great pain.
after that we reached human bodies that looked like they were decomposing only recently.. suddenly we reach this door.. my cousin stopd the car and tll me to open the door.
i open the door and suddenly iam in my room.. i look behind me and my cousin is no where to be found.
then i woke up :S

-My mom dying in the hospital (worst thing is, the next day she had to go to the hospital for her heart, I nearly got a heart attack myself of being scared!!)
-The plane me & my family were in crashing (the plane we went in the next day also had technical difficulties with the motor & had to land again, it was terrifying)
-My dad (he drives fast sometimes) driving off a cliff, you know the kinda dream where you fall, and just when you hit the ground, you wake up all sweaty. O_O
-My teacher hitting on me. Okay, this one sounds funny now I type it out like this XD, but it really wasn't in the actual dream itself. My teacher/tutor is a respectable great man that I like a lot (no, not that way, you anime-otaku people :P), and always helped me out and gave me advice. In this dream a friend of mine was looking for him on a school trip (O_o? I'm just as confused as you are xD), so we took a train, went around town (lots of BLUE bridges o.o; Yes, bright-blue, wtf), and we didn't find him at his house...so we decided to grab a drink at the nearest pub. And there he was. I went like "Is that you, Mr [insert my sensei's name here xP]?" He was obviously drunk and started hitting on me o.o; "You're hot, yeah you're so beautiful" with his seriously drunken face O_O Ugh it freaked me OUT, and made me feel all awkward & lose respect for him.

My worst nightmare would have to be when my brother and I are running into a jungle. Actually, we were running in a jungle away from a huge, black twister like thing. It was quite frightening and more when my brother fell. From what I remember, I was a few meters ahead. I looked back and it stopped--woke up.

Humm lets see, I remember, when I was about 10 years old my dad was flipping channels and stopped for probably a fraction of a second on the sci-fi channel and it was some bad horror flick, it was half a mummified corps dragging itself up a hallway towards these people down the hall. That night I had a dream that the corps was in my house so my family and I went on to the porch where it couldn't reach us, but the other half was on the porch ( its lower half) then suddenly the lower half turned into a jelly donut, scared the **** outa me :laugh but you gotta remember I was only 10, still I guess I was kinda lame as a kid hahaha

Then they just stay in the car and wouldnt come out, chucky just about has me when i quickly wake up. God that was crazy.

My worst dream nightmare was when I was at home watching t.v. then I hear my cousin scream. I got up and saw a bloody crazy looking guy stabbing my cousin at the door. I tried to fight him off but was not strong enough so I run for it to my backyard. I ran past the fence I jumped over it. Then I see him run out of the house chasing me, then I freeze for some reason, I just won't move. Then he stabbed me until I woke up. That was scary because I didn't notice I fell asleep, and I thought it was really happening.

In my most frightening and vivid dream, a pair of white hand came out of darkness and tried to choke me to death....I was trying to scream and move about but I couldn't move and voice wouldn't come out. It was horrible. I was trying to get the devil away by calling God and everything...in the end it released me, but it was really scary.

My worse nightmare is dying alone and unaccomplished. When I say unaccomplished, I don't mean something that gains me recognition by a large amount of people or anything. I mean something that makes me feel proud of myself like learning a boatload of stuff or mastering an art or something of the sort.

Dream nightmares are nothing to me anymore because I die in 95 percent of my dreams and sometimes even in the begining of them.

Every single one of you who reads this will probably die from laughter, but I'm completely serious when I tell you this. When I was younger I always had this dream of me waking up and going into our kitchen. As I would pass through the living room, I see this army of Woodstocks (the little yellow guys from Peanuts) and hear this little drums going off in the distance. I turn and look at the wall behind them and this giant shadow emerge out of the wall, like a big blob. I don't know why it scared me so much, I really don't. And I've had it like four times in my life.

My worst nightmare is that I go to math class totally naked... but since I'm not in school anymore I don't have to worry about that!

Other than that, I'm secure enough in my character as a man not to be afraid of anything.. except for fat women in thongs.
