Hey, I was reading raw japanese manga..and I've might have found a "Ichigo was Kaien" clue..

you know these small doodles Kubo Tite makes every volume?

Well, these pics are from Memories in the rain2 part, I'm sorry if you've seen, heard this before :x

If my guess is right, here's Kaien, all alive :amuse ! is it just me or is that a moon?? Who in bleach is symbolized as a moon? *cough*Ichigo*cough*X3

:omg the hollow takes over Kaien and starts to eat him!! He's dying ;.;

:cry the saddest part~~when Rukia kills her beloved fukotaichou~~..or maybe she saved him?? Another guess here is that this is Rukia's hands. Then it sure looks like Rukia's hands takes the destroyed moonparts and she makes a starlit sky of them *proving the Ichigo is Kaien reincarnated theory* (or maybe she's just trying to reach the dying moon o.O so?? Got anything to comment about this? Or just wanna agree with me that Kubo-sama sure is evil by putting Rukia through all this D: *love you anyways Kubo-sama*:3

Frankly, it seems like extreme symbolism to me.

Though that sort of symbolism, that Rukia in some way captured the essence of Kaien, might fit in with another clue: Rukia ended Kaien's life and began Ichigo's as a shinigami in the same manner: stabbing the zanpakutou through the heart.

Kubo Tite is insane with this subtle symbolism and foreshadowing...

You're on to something here.

Erh... That's... Well... " Rukia ended Kaien's life and began Ichigo's as a shinigami in the same manner: stabbing the zanpakutou through the heart. "

I'm just speechless now... I'd never thought it that way, even though I try to think everything as symbols in novels, comis, etc. Oh...

Nah, dont really get you at all I'm afraid. How does the moon thing link Ichigo to Kaien? It symbolises Kaien's death, sure, but where does Ichigo come in?

Those are some of the most beautiful symbolic sketches I've ever seen. :love

Anyway, I think you might be on to something. But then again, I believe in the Kaien-Ichigo reincarnation thing. The fact that Kaien was being represented by the moon really backs it up. And even the fact that they're on a black background helps represent Ichigo, since that's his color.

I love the amount of symbolism in those little images. They're gorgeous. :amuse

The moon obviously foreshadows the faction of the werewolves. The werewolves are humans who have transcended beyond shinigami and hollow powers and instead draw upon the power of the Wolf. The second drawing means the Ichigo will become so powerful that he destroys the moon. The third picture depicts how the werewolves, without their source of power, will then rise up and destroy earth/soul society/everything that exists in a preemptive war before the shinigami can take advantage of a weakened werewolf society.

Duh. It's so obvious. Why can you all not see that?

:laugh I bet that will be the next enemy set for the anime fillers. We've already got bloody vampires, afterall.

I'm still confused about why the pics have anything to do with Ichigo, anyway. A lovely bit of symbolism for poor old Kaien-dono's death, yes. But why is Ichigo linked in here?

Ive been of the opinion that he is a reincarnation of Kaien since that whole plotline was introduced.

I mean just taking into consideration that Rukia has been in Squad 13 for 40-50 years or so now, that means that Kaien's death could easily have taken place prior to Ichigo being born.

Would Ichigo have become a shinigami anwyaz eventually? Because his dad was he's a true blood. I wonder did Rukia giving him her powers made him have even more?? Back on subject i just think that Ichigo recarnation of Kaien thats just what happen when u die in SS u are reincarnated in real world and everything points to it being true.

Well, Zangetsu and Tensa Zangetsu. Standing for "Moonfang" or "Moonblade", I believe, and "Heavenly Fang striking the Moon". Anyway, a nice theory but unfortunately very vague. Your interpretation of the doodles is very good and could very well mean something as well as meaning nothing at all. Time will show what's up with it. But good observation.:amuse

Im sorry but u can make any type of symolism with that.

example.

Tosu: the moon is him with his view of justice and peace and protection.
#2 his perspective is srowded after the deat of his freind
#3 The shroud has dissapated anything that has left of his justice and disipated it to a point of anything is justice.

There has been many times Ichigo was symbolised by a cresent moon.
egIn volume 20, the small doodles had a baboon(zabimaru) and a cresent moon(Zangetsu) A post on symbolism in vol 20 on livejournal:
