I think we need a seperate sub forum for FMA manga, since it's diverging from the anime in terms of storyline. Otherwise the amount of confusion would only grow.

It's being sold in Singapore in book form in Mandrain, so far there has been till volume 8. A English version is coming out this month, if I remember correctly. However, it doesn't seem to affect Anime-source or any other site posting up their scans.
www.anime-source.com is where I get my monthly FMA fix. It's translated by Yebyosh, who'll usually post translated scans in English within a few days of the latest volume of Gangan (the comic magazine containing the latest monthly chapter of FMA)
Gangan is usually released on the 10th of each month.

Royai is not only my favorite pairing from the manga / series, but of my favorite pairings in all manga / anime. Despite the interesting parallels drawn with Royai and EdWin, the former still dominates, in my book, mostly due to the history they have. Riza and Roy entrusted their backs, their lives, their minds, and their goals in one another, and manage to have a very personal touch when on-screen [or manga-featured] despite the professional atmosphere to which they must adhere.

Well, I'm only up-to-date on the North American manga release (through vol. 19), so I don't know how later chapters affect this, but I usually tend to strongly support canon pairings (or at least, the pairings that seem to me to be most likely to become canon) in stories that I like--though I sometimes develop a fondness for less-likely pairings, too. So for FMA, I like EdWin and Royai. Roy and Riza, especially, have an interesting bond. They sort of remind me of Mulder and Scully from the X-Files.

A few other pairings I like:
Ling/LanFan
Al/May
Havoc/Sheska (a long shot for canon, I know, but for some reason I just like it)

I believe EdWin is much more obvious, so perhaps that is why I do not enjoy it on the same level as Royai. The latter is in a situation throughout canon where it has so many constraints on it, and frankly, for all they have been through [Ishbal / military / personal isuses], it would be nice to see them be settled.
