Ichigo and Renji!! [Archive]

I posted an earlier version of this in my Renji thread. Now it's done. It's on 18x24 drawing paper and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.

The coolest part of this picture is that it's actually a class assignment. My drawing teacher assigned us to do master copies, and he considers anything good a master work. So I win! :laugh

Anyway, I know that from the original Ichigo and Renji both look a little more tense and Renji is bigger than Ichigo. Fortunately, it still works, and it just looks like Renji's in the foreground.

Do you guys have any suggestions for what to do in the background or on the left margin? I'm not sure if I need anything, so feedback and critiques are extremely welcome!

I know that Renji's shoulders are too broad...but by the time I really noticed I had already inked it...:sweatdrop

I'm not very good at copying drawings with multiple characters...One of them always winds up looking kind of weird...

P.S. -- I tried to copy Ichigo's belt, but I got lazy and confused by a kind of crappy image and just made shit up. I love solutions. :laugh
