I don't think so... if anything, there was a lot more CloudxTifa in the game... particularly in disc 2, what with the part that took place in the Lifestream, and when they spend the night before the final fight together...

Wath annoys me is the amount of people getting rabbid when they want to prove wich relationship is the true one, specially with cloud x tifa.
I mean Aerith was the default pairing in the game, and she even appeared in the Demo of FF7 for the psx.
