Hey, just leaving a thread cause you didn't have any... ^_^. I guess you are kinda new here... I wrote stuff in language department when i was new too.
It's not a best idea. Try somewhere else. Anyway, i love the little conversation. Bye. ^_^

of course, they put it as tokee because they want u to pronounce it as tokee but it's not even that sometimes
u can sometimes just say tokei with the little i at the end and it's fine

Another reason romaji is EVIL!!!!!!
:huh :notrust :mad
.....lol
Yeah people change thing when trying to teach. Like the change from ohayou gozaimasu to ohayo gozaimas. Things like taking the u off of the end of words mess it up. As the u is technically silent, you can still hear it a little bit, or you are supposed too. As just saying Ohayo is pronounced slightly different than ohayou. And also when you have groups of vowels such as "ai" or "ei" they say them as how you would say the name of the letters "I" and "A" accordingly.
or say if you have あー in romaji is written as aa, and ああ is written as aa too, but they are in reality pronounced different. The first the a is drug out or lengthened, and the second one they are pronounced seperately (well kinda). That's why I hate romaji, and it's the reason why once you learn kana, and kanji, steer away from romaji whenever possible.
