With max stats it's a coinflip as everyone will be so close to the same that it doesn't matter.

Maxed stats in their areas, it comes down to if Rikku or Tidus is faster, I don't remember. Whoever gets up first wins it for their side.

Spirit-of-the-characters-wise, Auron's the highly trained elite warrior that's been fighting forever. Rikku was trained to capture summoners, not to mention living in the desert. Tidus has no combat history at all, and Wakka's weapon of choice is a blitzball? No contest here.
