(Sorry if I don't know much about Inuyasha, I only watched it to the point where InuYasha gets the red Tetsusaiga then I stopped when it got a little boring)

InuYasha can use any technique he has with his Tetsusaiga, and can become a full-demon.

Ichigo can use Bankai, or go through his hollow transformation and could use whatever technique he has for his Zangetsu

my vote goes for Ichigo...afterall....big demons or small...he has fought them all...like the menos grande...now that he has his bankai ability....he is even more powerful...plus on that of that...he has his hollow side inside him...:D

remember... Inuyasha can become a full-demon and he becomes much more powerful and faster in that form. Because he is a demon, he can get butchered a lot and still survived

that may be true....but i still think ichigo is powerful....i mean....no one has yet seen the true potential of the hollow inside him...i mean ppl are thinking that he may be the most powerful hybrid ever 0_o

...im still giving the win to inuyasha...he has the tetseiga which totally puts the zangetsu in shame...and he also has better physical abilities too...plus even if ichigo went hollow at full power...the backlash wave of the tetseiga can turn ichigo's own attack back at him plus the tetseiga's power....ichigo is overkilled...

The blacklash wave working is very questionable in regards to shinigami or hollows. Unfortunatly, we have no way to validate if hollow have similar properties to demons or not.

This one is a real toss up as both charachters attacks have produced similar results if we examin the after effects. Both also have darker sides which, depending on the circumstances, can help or hinder them.

Inuyasha is naturally more durable but Ichigo has a Bankai.

Ah heck Im going with Ichigo cause I like his charachter design more:P

Ichigo by miles. MILES!!! A closer fight would be Ichigo pre Urahara training vs Inuyasha. Anytime after that Ichigo stomps him. He is just to fast and to skilled. Ban Kai would decimate Inuyasha, he wouldnt even have time to react before he was dead.

Many reasons, the main ones being speed and reflexes. Inuyasha has never shown any real speed in the manga. Hes got a decent sprinting speed, but fighting speed is not the greatest especially when compared to speeds in Bleach. Ichigo even before Ban Kai could use Flash Step which makes Sesshoumaru look like hes standing still lol With Ban Kai Ichigo can cut thousands upon thousands of tiny blades in midair in a blink of the eye. Their speeds arnt even compareable. Inuyasha's only real chance is the Bakuryuuha (backlash wave) and I personally think it would be less then child's play for Ichigo to dodge that and cut off Inuyasha's head before he can finish yelling "Bakuryuuha!!!!"
