I'm a traditionalist so I'm going to go with MJ, however I do wish Gwen was around longer (would be interesting to see a "What if Gwen Stacey lived" or something).

On a side note, I think it would be really interesting to see him matched up with Spider-woman in for a short period, wonder how long before that happens in New Avengers.

As much as I love Gwen and the relationship she had with peter, I gotta say, MJ. They're my favorite couple in the marvel universe and I love when their relationship is written well. Felica was fun too though ^_^

Well MJ did end up as his wife, but if he had an alternative to her it would have to be Felicia Hardy. She really put a tough fight for MJ to get to Spidy, especially after she became the Black Cat.
