This is another nonsensical matchup brought to you buy, the Transporter :p.

Okay, this battle makes about -256 sense, but, what if Magneto decided just to roll up to there front door, and take over Hogwarts......What? He likes the view?

Now Hogwarts knows SOMTHING'S coming, and that it's powers have somthing to do with metal, but, no further :p.

Well technically, ALL of the teachers of Hogwarts know the spell, and, how to perform it. However, it is an "Unforgivavble" Curse, so, they don't lol. In emergancy's though, they whip it around like no tommorow :p.

"Avada Kedavra" can be blocked (it's a bolt of green energy), Magneto's quite good at moving stuff around to block.

Actually, every offensive spell seems to shoot a beam of energy in HP, so assuming they can all be dodged/blocked, a shield of moving metal bits makes Magneto invincible.

Though to be fair, if the challenge is to "take over" there's quite a bit of wiggle room as to how to what it takes to accomplish this. Does killing everyone in the school count, or does he have to convert students?

I think a good guidline would be to take over hogwarts with MINIMAL Damage to the Building and human life. He wants the place standing, so he can have the view ^_^. And, he needs servants, why not slightly superior homo-sapiens?

So, basically, as long as HE IS IN POWER, he has succeded ^_^.

Things like electronics and science are said to not work at all on magically protected grounds like Hogwarts and stuff. Magneto's ability to even find the place would be dependent upon how a "mutant human" is classified in the "Magic/Muggle" system. If he's a mutant muggle, does that mean he'll fall prey to the protection around the area of England where Hogwarts is (in other words, would he be able to see it in a fly-over of Europe? Would he fall prey to a memory charm if he got close enough?)

Assuming he even got over that obstacle, his manipulation of magnetism might be negated by magic. Magical spells can do anything except revive the dead and create real love, so Dumbledore'd probably know a spell to negate all of Magneto's powers within school grounds. In that same vein, the spells cast seem to be in light form, and photons are forms of electromagnetic energy which must obey Magneto's will by virtue of his powers.

This is why you never see stuff like this in Wizard magazine.
