When or if everyone gets a bounty, it would be nice to see a group bounty poster, have the entire team on the bounty poster with how much their each worth and a total bounty for the whole team. For a group of only 7 pirates that would be fitting.

The fights not being totally in order of strongest vs strongest, second strongest vs second strongest, etc. is great, the way they mix things up sometimes adds some unpredictability and originality to the series.

I'm surprised you think Sanji got an easy opponent in Kalifa... Sanji vs a hot chick? That's more of a challenge than any of the others aside from Lucci could provide, I'd say.

Some people seem to be underestimating Kalifa, despite being weaker than the others, she did just eat a Devils fruit. Depending on what ability she's gained from the fruit, she might possibly end up being stronger than Blueno. Luffy was himself wasnt able to beat Blueno untill he figured out how Blueno did Soru, so that Luffy could do it himself.

I get a feeling though that Kalifa's devil fruit ability may actually turn against her somehow, that'll stops Sanji drooling over her. But that would be cheap wouldnt it?

Well last time they were pretty much caught off gaurd for the most part. Not like you'd go from having a group of people somewhat friendly acquantainces to your enemies and go all out against them. For example, Zoro wasn't exactly losing against Kaku who is one of the top 3 strongest in CP9 until he looked away when Robin was escaping.

Rocketman gets stuck into the tower. And Spandam... is scared.
"You have permission to kill them all! Lucci, you come with me! No matter what happens, protect me! ...Funkfreed!! (the elephant)" Spandam calls the elephant, and it turns into a sword (zou zou no mi) ((zou= elephant)). Lucci, with Robin, and Spandam with the elephant-sword in hand hurry towards the gate of justice!

Rocketman is stuck in the tower, and Franky Family is worked up about it.

Franky is near Rocketman. "Kokoro no babaa ((babaa= rude way to refer to an old woman))! Runts! Why are you guys here?!"
"Babaa, hang in there! Don't die~~!" Franky is worried, but they just have nose bleeds.

Luffy heads towards the stairs, but Fukurou appears in front of him!
"Chapapapa! Nico Robin isn't here anymore~ Lucci took her to the gate of justice... Choukan went too ((choukan=director? something like that... He means Spandam. XD)). They're going now, so I won't tell you where to go, and we were told we could kill you all! Chapapa! If you don't kill us all, you won't be able to get Nico Robin back!"

"Look at this" Fukurou shows them a key.
"It's a key to the seastone handcuffs. Since seastone is as hard as diamond, even if you guys save Nico Robin, the handcuffs'll never come off. If that's all right, then go save her!"

"So give it to me!" And Luffy stretches his arm, but he avoids it using soru.

"Calm down, I haven't told you if this is the real key yet." says Fukurou.
"What!!" they all yell.
"There are 5 CP9 members in this tower, but they all have a key and are waiting for you."
"That's just a stupid waste of time..." says Zoro.
But then Nami has a good idea.
"How about we save Robin, and then take care of these guys?"

"You're so smart! But if you do that, I'll throw away the key!" Fukurou threatens, then disappears.

Nearby Luffy, who's pissed off, and Zoro, who's trying to calm him down, the crew tries to decide what to do. Franky too, of course. "If Robin-chan's with the pigeon guy, Luffy should go ahead! Kick his ass!"
"Not counting Luffy, there's six of us. We'll get the five keys, then follow after Luffy!"

"Losing wastes time... Everybody, even if you die, you have to win!" And with Zoro's shout, the crew splits up.

Luffy follows after Lucci.

Franky, while looking for cola since he's out of power, runs into Fukurou.

Sogeking throws open a door to find Jyabura inside, sleeping.

Nami runs through an underground tunnel. In front of her appears- "Yoyoi! Yoi yoi!"- Kumadori.

Sanji searches for a room. Suddenly the door closes. He turns around to find Calipha... "Would you care for some tea?" "Ah... of course! (his eye is a heart)"

Zoro opened a door. Kaku's there, sitting in a chair.

In another news, I'm waiting to see how long it takes for Usopps nose to break (As it always does). Him getting the utter crap beat out of him every fight (victory or not) is the highlight of the series.

It was obvious that Sanji was going to fight the uptight lady...I mean she uses fancy kicking techniques and Sanji always fights the hand to hand combat guy, just as Zoro always fights the sword guy.

Since Kaku is fighting Zoro, Kaku's fruit abilities have to be related to swords or blades in some way.

Lastly, I can not stand the zipper man. Plus he introduced the DBZ power level thing into the series....I hope he is the first villain in the series to actually die.

the albuana 'final battles' took about 30 chapters

Oda said the series was half over in early Skypiea. I think he'll go a bit over too, but I cann't see it being THAT long. After this, the government will constantly chase after them... the fun-filled adventures won't be seen as often any more, I think. Looks to me that we're getting to the meat of the story right now.

I really hope Kaku's fruit has nothing to do with swords. The way I saw it, he's considered a pseudo-swordsman for his use of those tools in the earlier fight (I can't remember what they were off-hand). We've already seen a blade fruit (Mr. 1), and this fruit he ate is supposed to be unusual anyway.

Not much argument of Fukuro's power levels... although, I wouldn't be too annoyed, it probably won't leak any further in the story than Fukuro's character does. Oda just likes to vary in showing ranking in numbers, (the Baroque Works Frontier Agent titles, the priests' ordeals' percentage of error) using power levels is just his latest method, and a tribute to Dragonball... two birds with one stone.

Yeah, I guess "a bit" was an understatement... but Oda almost certainly had a good idea of how the rest of the story was going to pan out even at that point, so I can't seem him underestimating it by a billion bajillion chapters. Yeah, there's a lot to go, but a lot of the characters you mentioned tie in with each other, and with the final arc (in my opinion) not that far away (war was outright declared against the World Government, after all) I can't see the whole "OP is gonna be like 800 chapters!" thing working out.

although... if Kaku got a Logia one.... ( i doubt that because i can't see a way yet zoro defeating a logia user.. but oda can surprise me if he wants ^^) he will maintain 2nd seat in absolute power out of the cp9 ... but if he got a weak df and Jyabura a strong one Jyabura would be 2 nd in power...

but the 2nd strawhat zoro is fighting kaku, so he must be the 2nd strongest out of cp9

Why do all the 7 Shichibukai have to be defeated? The only one that needs to be is Mihawk... essential point of the series is not being touched upon? Last time I checked, they each have a goal, and for the most part, they seem to be progressing towards it.

Bellamy seems dead... he could be or could not be as he was shown off-screen but it seems to imply that he is indeed dead. It was also stated that a lot of bounty hunters Zoro fought on Whiskey Peak were killed, you can consider them "villians."

Well already mentioned already, it only takes into account physical power. I personally think that Jyabura and Lucci both transformed are somewhat close in strength, at least thats what I gathered from their interactions.

It's possible they are quick learns since there could be a reason why those two specifically got to eat the devil fruits.

It'd make sense to me at least. And I can bet that the father has a "D" in the middle of his name too.

Yeah Blackbeard is quite large. So I think he's more closely related to Sauro (though he's still far from his size... but giants live hundreds of years, so who knows, Sauro could be a relative from a few generations ago), while Luffy and Ace doesn't show any indication of being above average in hieight.

Gol D. Roger wasn't extremely large, but even on his knees, if he were up straight, he'd be up to the height of a regular man.
