Hmm, here I was just lurking around the Naruto forums and browsing around when all of a sudden I came across a KakaNaru FC [beams]. Over joyed that I wasn't insane in my musings I was delighted to see "KakaNaru Moment." However [tilts head] when I clicked the link I had to sweatdrop and go "wait a minute...that looks very familiar..."
What do you know ^_^ my artwork kindly posted to an FC and I'm not even a member...insane! [chuckles] You made we register with the forums and everythign you know....so troublesome. :P

^^ [smiles sheepishly] Ah thank you very much! I'm glad that I can definately meet other people who like KakaNaru...whether it be romantic or not...but I do prefer romantic. I mean come on, so many KakaSasu or KakaIru [sweatdrops] I mean the only reason I saw KakaNaru as just
fanservice before was because they didn't have any alone time. :ninja
However, thanks to rescent manga chapters, they are spending a lot more time together - granted it may not be alone...but hey if you wanna get technical. They don't show Iruka and Kakashi really alone together [nod nod].

Now...Don't hate me KakaIru fans and before you say, "well who is to say they (Kakashi, Iruka) don't spend time together when...yatta yatta." Hmm, good point, we don't know what's happening every waking minute...but hey doesn't that mean Kakashi and Naruto could have moments outside what is in the manga and anime too? [smiles] There was this term for something...but in essense it sums up to "Everyone sees what they want to see." But remember...unless anything is official, it's just fun to keep the options open ne?

Now looking at it from the SasuNaru perspective. Well, they kissed, no wonder they have such a following. Personally, I have nothing against it...I mean truely to me any guy with Naruto is a-ok because the blond deserves love dang it! Looooove! The reason why I don't draw/write SasuNaru is well..Sasuke is annoying me with his imo trip.

I mean I get it, I feel for him in a way...but...well those of you who are up to date with rescent manga chapters....he is quite aware of what Orochimaru has planned, ne? Neh [pokes Sasuke] it's kinda noble that you want to avenge your clan, but what about the other ambition to "restore" your clan. It seems to me that Orochimaru is in full control with that body jutsu thing. The only restoration I can see is if he wants a new host body he'll want a line of sacrificial Uchihas, right? Neh, Sasuke is that what you want? [waves flag]

Ahem...back on topic. Wow, I turned this into a rant ne? Anyways, KakaNaru...well I think I'm pretty much done really. :nod The only thing I have left to add is about art requests.

I'm thinking of doing KakaNaru art requests...maybe even fanfiction. If you want a doujin...er keep in mind I never really did one before, so my paneling could suck...but I can try my best. All you have to do is provide a plot of some kind or what you'd like to see. Also keep in mind I have the right to refuse a projects, after all...something like a 100 paged comic is a little......yeah.

Yes, Naruto needs love. I mean, in a way I still acknowlede SasuNaru...however, I think I've moved on to the point of SaiNaru and IruNaru more so then SasuNaru. Unless Sasuke pulls a Riku (From Kingdom Hearts) and proves he's not all...well for the lack of a better term...nuts...then yes...I plan to ignore him.

Is it me, or is anyone else somewhat annoyed that Kakashi JUST NOW finally acknowledged that Naruto isn't just a goofball. Mmm, I know I may be nit-picky but...[sweatdrops] Oi, you were his sensei during team seven...you saw what he could do before. [waves arms around in anger] :scry KAKASHI NO BAKA! LOL

Seriously though [sighs] I kinda saw that coming. Afterall, Kakashi was focused on Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke. Well, giving Kakashi the benefit of the doubt....Sasuke was up against Gaara during the Chuunin exams and I can see how Kakashi would want to focus on keeping Sasuke alive, seeing what crazed Gaara did to Lee. Plus, there was the fact Jiraiya specifically asked Kakashi to leave Naruto to him and focus on the Uchiha instead....:notrust

I did enjoy the fact Kakashi was nice enough to catch Naruto everytime Naruto was going down for the count though. It may be just speculation, but I think Kakashi may be enjoying training Naruto. I mean looking at certain panels...Kakashi seems happy with Naruto's progress. [nod nod] Naruto is fun when he's enthusiastic, LOL.

See, this is one of the many KakaNaru sites I ran across. I'm not kidding when I say the pairing is somewhat popular in Japan [nod nod]. I have a whole list of sites...and what's more...there is so much fanfiction and novels. [holds up doujin] I even got doujin that came with the advertisement of a KakaNaru event being held on Kakashi's birthday! ^_^

See, the problem is the fact...well....it's in Japanese! I mean duuuuude...I can read some of it, but the Kanji dang it....kaaaaanji! [waves arms in air] So many symbols...so little time. It's a pain to translate and I just go...BAH! No wonder translators take so long...at least if they aren't fluent. I wanna translate all 6 of my KakaNaru doujin...plus the KakaNaru anthology I have [sighs]

Anyways...back on track. It's funny how KakaNaru isn't so popular in the US. I think it barely shows up on the radar compared to other pairings. I mean you'd think...people like Kakashi...people like Naruto. Well?!

Then again...NaruHina is more popular here, while NaruSaku is more popular in Japan. SasuNaru and KakaIru is also high...as to be expected. but...I think because of Sasuke going renegade...Naruto is being paired more so with other people [waves flag] Yeah SaiNaru ^_^

Un...that probably has something to do with it. Although, personally the reason why I believe yaoi/boy love is more prominant in Japan is because most anime consumers happen to be females. Boy Love is a genre really developed for the female audience, though...you'll get a few yaoi fanboys who like to be open minded [waves and smiles]. :kthumb

Anyways, it is kind of funny to see how really deffensive some Naruto fanboys and some fangirls get when they really believe in something. Kinda scary ^^ how they can also whip out information almost as if it were some political debate. You should really see the cat fights when people disagree and just become so.....[thinks] how shall I say entertaining.

Yes, I fully believe the SMART mangaka would keep in mind to allow his work to be interpreted any which way. I think honestly that the reason why Naruto has such a rapid fanbase is because Kishimoto doesn't focus on romance so much...which leaves anything open!

Now, as for a jealous Kakashi...heh that's a tough one, but yes I think it's possible and most likely probable. See, since Kakashi comes across aloof at times, it's difficult to actually pinpoint his personality. [nod nod] The only clue we have to Kakashi's persona would be Sasuke, since Kakashi claims they are alike. From what I understand, there are two types of Kakashi...the ANBU side and the laid-back Icha Icha side.

We know how high Kakashi values his comerads...this embedded even further by the Chuunin exams when Sasuke was about to collapse from exhaustion during the elimination round, Kakashi supported him upright with his leg. It was also shown again when Kakashi blew off Tsunade's S-Rank mission to find Naruto and Sasuke during the Sasuke retrieval arc...then again in rescent manga chapters where Kakashi catches Naruto when he's about to keel over from exhaustion.

Yet, one can see Kakashi tries to keep from getting too close, my belief being he doesn't want to loose anyone that precious to him again. So, trying to sort out all this info...[thinks] there are certain conditions that have to be met before jealous Kakashi would come out.

The first being Naruto would have to worm his way past Kakashi's deffense and sort of just truely bond with him on a deeper level then he is now. Naruto would also have to play the cute card and glomp on to Kakashi...kinda like he does with Iruka, ne? I think Naruto being Naruto...that wouldn't be too hard (maybe)...I mean look at all the times he suprised Kakashi with just a few words.

Next, Naruto would have to praise another MALE equal in Kakashi's status in front of the jounin. For example, something like...

"Neh, Kakashi-sensei! Iruka-sensei is really kakkoi! He can really focus on sensing chakra signatures!"
"Un, I suppose so. Iruka does have a knack for it. A ninja must..."
"But Sensei! Iruka-sensei really is amazing! I mean I wish I can learn something like that!"
"Well, I could always..."
"Hey! Maybe I can ask Iruka-sensei to teach me? Oh but I also wanted to ask Guy-sensei to train me on taijustu....mou what do you think sensei?"
"..........mah, I suppose it really is up to you.....I just remember I have to hand in a report," disappears in a puff of smoke.

Or something like that...but ano sah...I think you get the point. As far as doujin is concerned...well since Kishimoto is already drawing the manga i doubt he can do a doujin considering that'd be a fancomic. However, you can find lots of KakaNaru doujin on ebay...that's where I got mine anyways. In the mean time I suppose one will have to wait for an actual U.S. or at least English speaking fan to provide fanfiction or doujin.

I'm thinking of workign on a fanfic myself...though i'm not sure if the concept is any good. Here is a somewhat summary of what I had in mind...

Once long ago, when the earth was new and the land brought forth fertile bounty, the human race and spirits of nature coexisted as one. Humans with thier great engineering and curisoity of the world around them, went forth to expand the reaches of thier civilization and brought about a new era. Yet, as time marched forward and the human race multiplied even further, the trees, water and land began to deminish - molding into the shape of thier conqueror's desire. The spirits of nature quivered with anger and began to retality, killing in vengence and hatred thus spilling blood of both young and old - taintedand innocent. Man embittered by the unjustified strike called upon it's strength to strike down these spirits...these demons!
Kakashi is a lone wanderer who happens upon the village of Konaha when he collapses from hunger. Saved by a young villager and soilder named Iruka, he finds himself indebted and reluctantly volunteers to help exterminate a small band of demons in the surrounding forest. However, his hunt takes a sudden unexspected turn when he finds himself face to face with an injuredblond hair, blue eyed teen who claims to have escaped the clutches of the demons. However, something isn't right about the blond...no matter how cute his whisker marks are!

LOL, well you must read the manga...you are missing all the KakaNaru goodness [nod nod] I know it can be tedious to DL the manga...especially if you you have a slow connection. But I think there is a site somewhere that actually uploads the manga on a webpage or something [scratches head]

Yes, it was very sad...it almost makes you cry out in frustration actually. As I stated before, Sasuke's imo trip may be understandable...yet it can also make you grit your teeth. You also have to feel for Kakashi, I mean his first time as a jounin instructor and his supposed prized pupil went AWOL. Nah, but at least with the start of Part 2 we get to see some new charaters and intense action!

Yes, I fully believe the SMART mangaka would keep in mind to allow his work to be interpreted any which way. I think honestly that the reason why Naruto has such a rapid fanbase is because Kishimoto doesn't focus on romance so much...which leaves anything open!

Now, as for a jealous Kakashi...heh that's a tough one, but yes I think it's possible and most likely probable. See, since Kakashi comes across aloof at times, it's difficult to actually pinpoint his personality. [nod nod] The only clue we have to Kakashi's persona would be Sasuke, since Kakashi claims they are alike. From what I understand, there are two types of Kakashi...the ANBU side and the laid-back Icha Icha side.

We know how high Kakashi values his comerads...this embedded even further by the Chuunin exams when Sasuke was about to collapse from exhaustion during the elimination round, Kakashi supported him upright with his leg. It was also shown again when Kakashi blew off Tsunade's S-Rank mission to find Naruto and Sasuke during the Sasuke retrieval arc...then again in rescent manga chapters where Kakashi catches Naruto when he's about to keel over from exhaustion.

Yet, one can see Kakashi tries to keep from getting too close, my belief being he doesn't want to loose anyone that precious to him again. So, trying to sort out all this info...[thinks] there are certain conditions that have to be met before jealous Kakashi would come out.

The first being Naruto would have to worm his way past Kakashi's deffense and sort of just truely bond with him on a deeper level then he is now. Naruto would also have to play the cute card and glomp on to Kakashi...kinda like he does with Iruka, ne? I think Naruto being Naruto...that wouldn't be too hard (maybe)...I mean look at all the times he suprised Kakashi with just a few words.

Next, Naruto would have to praise another MALE equal in Kakashi's status in front of the jounin. For example, something like...

"Neh, Kakashi-sensei! Iruka-sensei is really kakkoi! He can really focus on sensing chakra signatures!"
"Un, I suppose so. Iruka does have a knack for it. A ninja must..."
"But Sensei! Iruka-sensei really is amazing! I mean I wish I can learn something like that!"
"Well, I could always..."
"Hey! Maybe I can ask Iruka-sensei to teach me? Oh but I also wanted to ask Guy-sensei to train me on taijustu....mou what do you think sensei?"
"..........mah, I suppose it really is up to you.....I just remember I have to hand in a report," disappears in a puff of smoke.

Or something like that...but ano sah...I think you get the point. As far as doujin is concerned...well since Kishimoto is already drawing the manga i doubt he can do a doujin considering that'd be a fancomic. However, you can find lots of KakaNaru doujin on ebay...that's where I got mine anyways. In the mean time I suppose one will have to wait for an actual U.S. or at least English speaking fan to provide fanfiction or doujin.

I'm thinking of workign on a fanfic myself...though i'm not sure if the concept is any good. Here is a somewhat summary of what I had in mind...

Once long ago, when the earth was new and the land brought forth fertile bounty, the human race and spirits of nature coexisted as one. Humans with thier great engineering and curisoity of the world around them, went forth to expand the reaches of thier civilization and brought about a new era. Yet, as time marched forward and the human race multiplied even further, the trees, water and land began to deminish - molding into the shape of thier conqueror's desire. The spirits of nature quivered with anger and began to retality, killing in vengence and hatred thus spilling blood of both young and old - taintedand innocent. Man embittered by the unjustified strike called upon it's strength to strike down these spirits...these demons!
Kakashi is a lone wanderer who happens upon the village of Konaha when he collapses from hunger. Saved by a young villager and soilder named Iruka, he finds himself indebted and reluctantly volunteers to help exterminate a small band of demons in the surrounding forest. However, his hunt takes a sudden unexspected turn when he finds himself face to face with an injuredblond hair, blue eyed teen who claims to have escaped the clutches of the demons. However, something isn't right about the blond...no matter how cute his whisker marks are!

Hmmm, now as far as Naruto like Obito...I do believe that I said something about that in one of my earlier posts around page 8 of the forum....or at least somewhere :nod LOL But yes, Obito does seem a lot like Naruto. You see, looking at the manga....

BEWARE...TURN BACK IF YOU ARE NOT UP TO DATE WITH THE MANGA!


From what we can tell of Kakashi Gaiden (which takes place between part 1 and 2 of the manga)...Obito is most likely the major reason why Kakashi is who he is.

The short summary of Gaiden...LAST CHANCE!

...takes us back to when Kakashi had just earned the rank of jounin and was very much...Sasuke like. Kakashi and Obito seemed to always be at odds. Kakashi was a stickler for the rules (because of what happened to his father) and well, kinda was just a no nonsense type of guy. Obito on the other hand was somewhat carefree and you could probably asume he liked to bend the rules. This point proven with the fact he always seemed to arrive late in meeting his team....and giving a somewhat obvious lie (sound somewhat familiar, ne?). So, both clashed on ideals...and probaly irratated the hell out of eachother. Seeing the Sasuke and Naruto pattern, aren't we?

Now...during this particular moment in time, Kakashi was given the opportunity to act as leader to his team mates (Obito and Rin), while thier sensei...the Yondaime...was pretty much playing decoy if I remember right. However, Rin get's captured by enemy nin and instead of trying to save her, Kakashi sort of has this...screw her attitude...we must follow the mission.

Obito, clearly not liking that answer gives Kakashi the speech of "those who abandon thier commerads are worse then trash" and Kakashi feels the sting of those words. Deciding to now save Rin, more action happens...Kakashi get's injured...Obito activates the Sharingan...Obito pushes Kakashi out of the path of falling rock...initially Obito dies saving Kakashi.

As a last farewell gift, Obito then requests Rin to transplant his eye into Kakashi's damaged eye...and it gets really touching [blows nose] So that's how Kakashi got the Sharingan...


Now...where was I going with this? Ah yes...looking at the summary, you can see how Naruto and Obito relate. What Obito did for Kakashi is similar to the length Naruto would go for Sasuke (part 2 [cough). Not to mention both Obito and Naruto come across as the carefree, bundle of energy type.

Ahem, there is also the fact that Naruto also has some things in common with the Yondaime. This is actually stated by Jiraiya when he and Naruto were lookign for Tsunade...I think it was along the lines of "you remind me of the 4th..." Ano...sah....[tilts head in thought]

So...what does it mean?

Well this goes into another of my KakaNaru rants from earlier. I remember reading someone's thoughts (whether Japanese or English...don't really remember...gomen ne!) on how Kakashi would be more attracted (romantically) to Naruto because the blond is like Obito and Yondaime. That in a sense can be true...after all it is no doubt that Naruto mirrors Obito and Yondaime at least in some small aspect. Plus, Naruto and Yondaime's resemblance is like.....mou they have to be related...lol.

Ahem, well in my musings, one will have to actually take the thought even further ne? See, Kakashi feels guilty about what happened during Gaiden, furthermore Yondaime died sealing the Kyuubi and Rin...well...no one knows what exactly happened...but Kakashi states "all his precious people are dead."

This being said, and if I were in Kakashi's shoes...personally, I can understand being somewhat hesitant to get close to someone like Naruto. It brings up a lot of painful memories and justs almost makes you want to keep your gaurd up. Of course, this is all just speculation...but this is maybe perhaps why Kakashi and Naruto haven't bonded to a level we'd all would like.

You have to admit...the idea does spark up some interesting fanfiction/fanart/yatta...and in fact, would probably make things more believable in the end. Sah, Sah...as for know...we'll just have to see where the KakaNaru relationship will go from here.

Un...that is maybe partially the reason why Kakashi seems so onesided. However, giving the former ANBU the benefit off the doubt, in the manga and anime it was pointed out that Jiraiya specifically requested Kakashi to leave Naruto to him. Ehh, I forget which chapter, but the reason for it was because Jiraiya believed Kakashi couldn't protect Naruto from the Akatsuki. So, Jiraiya told Kakashi he should focus on Sasuke and teach him how to use the Sharingan. Plus...the fact Sasuke was up against Gaara...

I can actually see how Kakashi would focus on keeping Sasuke for the most part alive...Gaara being, well blood lusty and all. However, we all know how all of that turned to in the end...which almost makes for an interesting point. I mean, it was Kakashi's first genin team he actually passed, then he sorta focuses on Sasuke (perhaps trying to also keep away from Naruto...poor blond deserves love!) and then Sasuke goes....well for a lack of a better term, imo-craze and there you go. ANGST!

I said from one of my other post, some people (mostly from fanfic authors) think that Naruto may have a more slim, feminen body when he's an adult. He's more Uke if you can picture that.

lol, for the most part your right, I think probably because most guys are into the fighting blood and gore, in which i think is kickass, I tend to lean towards the paring aspects of it as well..
