Honestly it is hard to find good ones. Especially for an obscure pairing like Kakanaru. A lot of times they are pure crap (mainly being on the fact the the writer has no grammar skills) or are really not about that pairing.

Sumimasen, I'm a little tired...and I can't really say my thoughts are completely straight, LOL. However, I'd like to give a welcome to all the new members. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Inoshi - dozou yoroshiku, pleasure to meet you. Well, as you know, we here appreciate the relationship of Kakashi and Naruto, whether it be brotherly or romantic. Ano sah...let it be known most of us wave the KakaNaru (romantic relationship) flag, but please don't let that scare you.

Ahem, [thinks] reading over the last few pages, it seems we have a flood of new Japanese fansites, banners and fanfiction. Yes, let us rejoice in all that is KakaNaru! [thumbs up] unfortunately, I don't have anythign new to bring to the table [bows head] but I like to think I do offer some KakaNaru.....hmm...I suppose the word would be "discussion" every now and then...I think...

[cough] Anyways...let me see...any new Kakanaru news?

Hmm [tilts head in thought] well, if you haven't heard....the Naruto "filler" arc is suppose to end soon, but I wouldn't get ones hopes too high until we actually see it, ne? However, if this is the case, then Kakashi Gaiden should start soon. So, what....what does that mean? Well, if you really don't know I suppose you haven't been keeping up with the manga...have you...

If you are behind or just do't read it, well...you are missing a lot. ^^ Basically, in a nut shell...Kakashi is now overseeing Naruto's training. But, going back to the anime....[thinks] well...there is no KakaNaru development. In fact, for some odd reason...Kakashi hardly shows up in the fillers. I think he shows up a total of two times so far, but he only really comes into play once....lol, maybe he's too busy with S-rank missions, ne?

The only place that can probably satisfy your KakaNaru needs is most likely in the manga...maybe......

CHAPTER 319 SPOILERS AHEAD!


Okay, so you've read the latest Naruto chapter, which pretty much contains much of the same...Naruto training! So, the main objective was for Naruto to cut the waterfall in half with his chakra in order to become one step closer to his ultimate goal....creating a new jutsu. Really, there isn't too much going on KakaNaru wise....if anything the chapter boosted the Asuma/Kurenai, SasuSaku and SasuNaru parings...[snickers] ahhh so typical though. Plus...Sai wasn't shown again either T_T noooo...I miss Sai!

Moving along, I guess one of the most interesting things to observe is Kakashi's training method for Naruto. Even though this may just be speculative (or the wording of the translation), notice how Kakashi seems to praise Naruto on his progress...even though the kage bushin training does speed things up...in his own way, Kakashi has acknowledged Naruto is learning much faster rate then expected. I bet you are asking "so what"....well, look at it this way.

Why is it that Naruto is sometimes paired with Neji or Gaara (and occasioanlly Shikamaru, Kiba and now even Sai)? Besides the answer of "they are around the same age", "they look cute" or "they had that one moment" observe how the relationship opened...it started with acknowledgement. This is what Naruto wants most of all...and he gets closer to people's hearts because he shows that particular person something they haven't seen before...a courage, understanding, compassion and whatever else through a never give up attitude.

Naruto has a gift for suprising and changing people. The point being, if I am predicting this right...Naruto will continue to suprise Kakashi and just show the jounin what he can do (get closer to him [thumbs up]). Hoping that all goes well and if Kishimoto follows pattern...considering Kakashi is sort of a main charater....there should be a time where Naruto will help Kakashi through his (as Neji likes to call it) "darkness".

Ano, I believe this may happen if, in fact, those Tobi=Obito theories turn out to be true. I mean, who else but the fox boy can help someone who in that kind of possition? Well....Iruka and Gai aside...that just opens a whole other topic. [cough]

Un kawaii (cute) moments to note in this chapter....
Now, I understand Kakashi may just be trying to calm Naruto down from his frustration, but he did ask Yamato to create a giant waterfall for Naruto. Poor Yamato was left hacking and coughing...hahah, admit it Kakashi, you like Naruto happy. Technically Kakashi could have just made Naruto work with what he had, ne?

Another moment would have to be when Kakashi woke up when Naruto went back to training. [nudges Kakashi] Neh, it's the middle of the night...and even though you are highly aware of your surroundings, I wonder....^^ how long were you watching Naruto? Mwhahah...open fandom musings.

Besides that...well if anyone has something to add contradict...feel free...I mean that's the reason why I ramble like this [nod nod]

I have to agree with you Inoshi. While I really don't believe Tobi is Obito, it would be Naruto who would be the one to help Kakashi out of his darkness.

In fact looking at it that woud, it would make sense that Tobi is Obito. -drools over the thought of Kakanaru moments that might bring.-

But yes it would seem that Kakashi does a lot of little things for Naruto, making it seem more and more that Naruto has started breaking down the wall around Kakashi's heart.

And how is this one of the crackest crack pairings? Does it seem unlikely? Early manga development perhaps (though I speculate that Kakashi was pushing away Naruto because Naruto is so much like Obito and Yondaime.) but in light of the newest developments, this pairing seems more and more likely.

I am used to lurk, I am sorry V_V. Maybe I will post something if I find something good. I really dislike the behavior of these NaruHina persons. Don't they see that they make everybody hate them with that attitude like their pairing is the best and right and everything else is just 'crack' ? So vain. I have seen fanfics of that pairing. :) I'm both het and yaoi pairing. So, Naruto is the ONLY anime show that I don't like ANY of the girls, except Hinata and Tsunade. They're cool lol So, that's most of the reason why I only like yaoi in Naruto.

Alos, a little off subject. Has anyone notice that 75% of flames in reviews of yaoi are from het fans? I mean why are they reading yaoi fanfics if they HATE yaoi? [nod nod] Anyways [tilts head to one side] since we have been talking about Kakashi and Naruto as a couple, I suppose it's about time to probably open up the table to the brotherly, fatherly relationship...[pokes other people] and perhaps get some other people involved in discussions or whatnot.

Hmmm, it's hard to see any brotherly bonds between the too persay, mostly because well...thier interaction compared to say Iruka and Naruto is limited. I mean, Kakashi and Naruto are really just truely interacting now in the manga and it's still too early to see where things are going. One thing for certain is that Naruto truely admires Kakashi for his ability and I suppose overall persona.

I can see Kakashi developing a good mentor/student relationship, somewhat similar to what Asuma has with Shikamaru. Naruto just has that sort of energy to draw people in after all. Furthermore, after the whole Sasuke thing settles...Naruto will be striving towards his goal as Hokage, so i;m sure he'll come to Kakashi for advice.

I know there is this one good fanfic out there that really puts the brotherly aspect into a new light. It's called "Way of Shinobi" by Kira-Reen and can be found here http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2488343/1/ It's a wonderful fic that can even...for the die hard KakaNaru fans [waves flag] can be taken as something even more...if you want to see it that way [cough].

Ahem, I know most of us prefer the KakaNaru aspect, but I'd be happy to see Kakashi interacting with Naruto on so many levels. If I had to place them in a non-romatic scenario, I'm sure Kakashi would be very much like Iruka, watching Naruto grow and mature and just becoming very proud of the blond.

Un, that is an interesting question. It is true that about 97% of Japanese KakaNaru fanart has Naruto featured as a kid, my guess it's due to the fact that Naruto presently is one.....well currently he's technically a young teen but you get the idea. Personally I prefer to see Naruto at least as an older teenager before he begins to develop those kind of feelings for Kakashi. However, let me try to elaborate on some of the possible reasonings for KakaNaru ^_^

I can probably safely assume that the fandom of KakaNaru started mainly because of Naruto and Kakashi are popular characters, so why not pair them together. In truth, even after we knew of Kakashi's connection to the Yondaime or the uncanny resemblance between Yondaime and Naruto...the pairing at best was pretty much only fanservice. Kakashi's true pairings by fans seemed to always Iruka (because they had that moment) or Sasuke (because they trained alone together). It was only till rescent manga chapters that KakaNaru could be somewhat supported because Naruto actually spent some alone (Yamato aside...) time with Kakashi.

Ahem, in our culture having an older man with a young boy is considered taboo..heck even homosexual relations are tapping on a few people's nerves. However, you have to consider something that may play a factor behind this pairing. In this ninja world created by Kishimoto, children who follow the ways of the ninja are expected to have the mentality of an adult...or they will never make it.

Taking Kakashi as an example, he was brought up in an era of war. He became a genin at the age of 5, chuunin at the age of 6 and a jounin at around the age of 13 or so. Even looking at Itachi...he became an ANBU captain at 13. From what we have seen, ninjas fight and live...knowing that they must kill or be killed. Granted, Naruto is striving to create his own ninja way...but that doesn't throw off the fact that when he was 12 he was learning to throw shurikens and handling a kunai.

The point being, in a sense one can expect a ninja's life to be on the short side. With this in mind, remember that ninjas are human too...no matter how much some may hide it. Knowing that nothing is for certain...you can probably sympathize when love comes into play. This is part of what makes KakaNaru (and probably KakaSasu, KakaSaku, AsuShika, GaiLee...yatta) interesting. Many fans can play with the factor of forbbiden or accepted. Is it taboo because of the age difference/same sex relation...or is it accepted because these children are not children...that life is too short? Honestly...it's speculation! ^_^ but I think it's the passion of two people having to live as ninja and understanding what it means to be shinobi...finding a solace and happiness with one another.

I'm sure the phrase, "love has no bounds" must ring a bell. It's kind of one of those cheezy lines...but it makes sense. ^^ Now i may not speaking for all KakaNaru fans...but I just wanted to point out some possible answers.

WARNING! CHAPTER 320 Spoilers!


Well, for those of you who have read CH 320, kudos to you! If not...well what can I say? The quick summary of this chapter is that while new team Asuma investigates the massacre that occured at the Fire temple...Naruto completes stage two of his training, which is to cut the waterfall with his chakra. We also see that the two Akatsuki members Hidan and Kakuzu have arrived at a bounty station in order to collect on the monk they've been dragging along, and it seems that a battle between one of the 20 Konaha teams and Akatsuki will commence very soon..........but that kinda stuff doesn't pertain to current KakaNaru events...so I shall be moving on...[cough]

Ahem, as far as choice KakaNaru moments there are three I'd like to note. The first being when Naruto again collapses from exhaustion...Kakashi appears right beside him in an instant. [smirks] It even seems when Naruto doesn't respond, Kakashi gets a little worried. The blond bundle of sunshine, however, assures Kakashi that he is okay by saying he's hungry...to which Kakashi thinks, "You are quite the guy...Naruto." ^___^ Yes, even though it may be in Kakashi's character to aid his commerads...this was a cute moment. Pluuuus...[nudges] neeeh Kakashi-sensei..."quite the guy?" Someone is further acknowleding someone....mwhahahaha!

The second scene is when Kakashi, Naruto and Yamato are at the Ichiraku. It's interesting to note that the next few panals are pretty much comic relief. It seems "cute Akane-san"...as Kakashi put it (nooo, Kakashi you must state Naruto is cute!)...is currently away and has been replaced by a bunch of bumbling trainees.....much to Naruto's dismay. Naruto is left drooling on the table from hunger and Kakashi watches him do so. :nod Hmmm...[smirks] what are you staring at Kakashi? Oh-ho...and also take note that after that scene...Kakashi is trying to protect the trainees from the man at the Ichiraku...trying to restore peace so Naruto can eat, neeee? Sure it's speculation, but it's speculation I like! :kthumb

The final scene is actually the last panel in the comic. "Naruto, there is somethign rather interesting I'm gonna show you." [falls over laughing] You know that line can bring up many hentai images ne? ^^ but, I am sure it'll be something related to training of at least help Naruto focus or what not. However....it may be something meaningful! And this is what brings us to are manga discussion for this week!

What do you think Kakashi will show Naruto? Could it be a secret technique to help with creating a new jutsu? Something meaningful like showing him an object from his past? Could it be a place where Kakashi himself learned something? So many possibilities...so many possible KakaNaru moments!

^^ May I recommend the three best fics I have ever read in my life, by the best fanfiction author I know (and she's also my friend)? They're long (took me three days to read-- with breaks, though. xD I pulled two all-nighters [or most-nighters] because they were so addicting and good!) but well worth reading, I promise. *__* These fics made me LOVE ItaSaku, LOVE DeiSaku, LOVE Deidara, and LOVE Akatsuki in general.

I am hoping it's something major...I mean for it to be in the last panel as a type of cliffhanger [grins] YES! Kakashi do what you will with Naruto!

As far as Asuma, yes...he's actually been puzzling fans for quite a few chapters. It's amazing how all of a sudden details that were lost are suddenly popping up. [smiles] You know, at first...I originally thought Asuma becoming this gaurdian ninja was just a new development that happened over the time skip. However, if you noticed the marked sash he wears...it turns out Asuma has been wearing that ever since way back when! Trust me...my mind went "BOOM" when I realized that.

It's speculated that something major is going to happen to Asuma, most asume a major character death. This point was driven even futher when we learned there is a large bounty on Asuma's head...and we know one Akatsuki member who likes money...[cough] Anyways, I'm really hoping that's not the case. I like Asuma-sensei....

[tilts head to side] In a way, I actually want to see more of Iruka-sensei in action....truth be told I wanna see Sai again. But, as far as Naruto's past...[taps foot] yes....I am hoping that Kakashi will say something...Naruto has to come from somewhere, ne?
