Thankies! I'll probably become bored again in class and make up more...ugh, I hate math. And I don't even have to take it this year!

In my Kakanaru fic, I had a scene with the Mizukage and Naruto. The 'poor-Naruto-he's-going-to-be-molested-oh-wait-there's-an-ANBU-nevermind'. The picture that inspired that is a Kakanaru one, I'm not sure it was posted. Unless it was emailed to everyone else. Otherwise, I can email it.

And I wanted so badly to have it as my avatar! Or at least in my signature...

For once, Kakashi was devoid of a certain orange book.

"Hai, I know," he replied tiredly. It was the same every month. They'd go through this routine and Kakashi would hope every time that Naruto was letting a little of the resentment go.

But every time, his hope went out the window whenever he saw Naruto actually let his mask fall and Kakashi would let his own be uncovered.

And every time, Naruto would actually tell the truth and they would always be the same.

Kakashi closed his eyes when Naruto took a hold of his flak jacket. He knew what came next.

His body froze when Naruto unexpectedly slid his lips over Kakashi's.

"But I guess, I love you too," the blonde said shyly.

Kakashi felt hope again.

Hmm, it was a few years ago (one, two? I can't remember :scry) I had just started to like SasuNaru (my first yaoi pairing that I liked....well I forced myself to read the fanfics for some reason O.O) and I think I've just looked into random pairings and found KakaNaru

I've read some of the fanfics and grew to love the pairing!

Some of the KakaNaru stories that I've read from the beginning were from Remorseful Youth (this is the author that turned me into a KakaNaru fangirl! XD), Shi-chan, and last but not least, Omni-chan!

Hello everyone!

Hmmm well now I think it's time to tell you all how I got into KakaNaru. Truth be told, i just started getting into Naruto not to long ago, maybe at most half a year or so...but yes I got myself up to date and tada I know EVERYTHING! LOL, well almost everything...but anyways [tilts head to side] Since none of the female leads interest me, I decided to see who would best complete Naruto...low and behold my suprise of Sasuke actually kissing Naruto, so there you go SasuNaru was what I supported.
I mean Sasuke in fanfiction and doujin was the hero-type badboy that mirrored and complete Naruto's persona. Hooked on finding some Naruto-related entertainment, I found my way to a scanlation of a Naruto doujin. I deeply fell in love with the style of Uzu Uzu Company and started to seek more doujin - oddly enough it was the scanlation group of Possible Soup under Nuetral.
By either luck or fate, most of Neutral's translated Naruto doujins were KakaNaru! Intrigued I kept reading the manga trying to figure out how the heck did Kakashi and Naruto get paired together when Kakashi was mostly with Sasuke. I read some KakaNaru fanfics here and there, hoever, even though the idea of KakaNaru was cute, I still followed the fanbase of SasuNaru...I mean who better then Sasuke to be with Naruto?
Then....Sasuke went emo and well...you guys know the story. [sighs and shakes head] After the VoE, I tried to completely ignore anythign to do with Sasuke, truth was...the Uchiha disgusted me. I don't care how sad his past was, he gave in to the thought of power and sacraficed everything he could have had. Poor Naruto...
From there I sort of just wafted between diffrent pairings, yet there was just something right about KakaNaru...maybe because they were both cute, ne? I continued to read further and I discovered Kakashi Gaiden. So....that's why KakaNaru was sprouting in Japan...it's fanservice! Yondaime REALLY looks like Naruto ne? Obito reminds me of Naruto too! I read more fanfics and looked at more fanart and became hooked.
Kakashi himself stated that he and Sasuke were alike, if that's true...then Naruto should be a good pair for Kakashi, right? Yes Kakashi is diffrent from Sasuke (he's not emo), but...what I saw was to men that needed love. So there you have it! My resolved deepened even further when Kakashi began to train Naruto...[smirks] you know Kakashi was enjoying beign with Naruto!

Eh...How I got into Kakanaru...

To tell you the truth, I've given in to the whole Naruto thing. I used to say I wouldn't give into the hype...and I ALWAYS end up getting into these things after its died down. I keep saying I won't give in to the trend...or whatever. Well, considering I give it a try after something gives me a push and not because its popular, I guess that satisfies me. So that's how it was with Naruto.

I watched the special recap episode on Toonami (I was bored and there was nothing on) and I actually got hooked on that. Actually, I liked Sasuke and thought he was so cool. And that Naruto was annoying. Or rather his voice (really, a lot of the times, dubs have the worst voice casting). 'Cause I kept hearing the preview for the next episode before deciding to give the anime a try, and there was one line Naruto kept saying that bugged me because his voice went screechy. In the end, I ended up hating (well, I hate him most times, but I can curb that hatred for most things like fanfics) Sasuke (b/c of his attitude and I find out he almost kills Naruto, who I end up liking by the end of the recap) and loving Naruto (eh, I got used to his voice after I got attached to him and his story).

Though, I thought Sasuke's attitude was all just in the fanfics (that being, people write him a certain way in fanfics). By the time I finished watching the first two DVDs I rented, I knew Sasuke really was that way, and he became less cool and more grating.

I still had the feeling Naruto and Sasuke was the popular yaoi pairing...

My problem is that I like weird pairings, and certain things catch my eye more than common stuff. So, when I saw the recap and Kakashi appeared...my mind screamed Kakanaru...you know, him being Naruto's sensei and then the episode where he pawns Naruto off to Ebisu ( it was the new epi then, at least here)...

I went straight to FF.net and was pleasantly surprised that although it wasn't as much as SasuNaru, there were a lot more fanfics about the two than I had thought there would be...

KAKANARU FOREVER DAMMIT!!!!

Not that I mind other people with Naruto...I do tend to try to stay away from SasuNaru...the dislike can be too much and Kakanaru is my Naruto OTP.

Hear, hear, Inoshi-san! That is exactly how I feel about Sasuke-teme! Actually, my support for SasuNaru is actually kinda short...it last about maybe two hours because I became tentative of Sasuke after reading a couple of fanfics to being annoyed of the guy after watching the beginning episodes. Then he began to redeem himself until I heard he tried to kill Naruto. It went downhill.

Scary. I'm so obsessed when I just got into Naruto like maybe two months ago, maybe less. But I caught up on everything mostly....plus, I sort of blew 100 dollars on manga 1-11 and then bought the first DVD set (special edition too...) not too long after.

Man, I must have obsessive-compulsive disorder or something. I like searched crazily through the web for Kakanaru things, and I've already started a fanfic when I said I wouldn't start one for new obsessions. Eh...oh well.

Wow, you guys explained a lot about how you guys turned into KakaNaru fans (-cries- I'm the only person who can barely remember how I became a KakaNaru fan >.<)

Though, as for hating Sasuke....I don't really hate him ^^; <---has only seen parts of valley of end. But, I do think that he is a bastard. I loved Naruto as soon as I saw him in the 3rd episode (he looked so kawaii! XD), but I hated the voice acting in the dub version (hell, I hate all of the character's voice in the dub version -.-;).

And as for me, it is a funny story. I have gone through so many pairings in Naruto. But I will only tell you about the ones dealing with Naruto and Kakashi.

First I was all into KakaSaku. It made sense to me, who at the time was a non-yaoi fangirl. I liked hentai. Yaoi just didn't appeal to me. So I read some KakaSaku fanfictions. They were some good ones, but no great ones. None that caught my attention and wrapped me up so tight in them, that I had to read them no matter what. So I transition from KakaSaku to SasuSaku. It made sense to me, afterall Sakura had a crush on Sasuke and Sasuke wanted to rebuild his clan. Same problem with Kakasaku, no great fanfics. I could truly get into the fandom. Plus by this time, Sasuke was starting to annoying me. Well I decided to try SasuNaru. Afterall there is an overload of fanfictions for that pairing. I had to find a good one sometime. I did. Actually. I found this really good fanfiction, where Sasuke rapes Naruto. Beautifully written, captivating everything. But still, SasuNaru just was ugh. Then one night, I have a dream. That dream inspired me to write Kiss and I have been hooked on Kakanaru ever since.

LOL, I'm glad you enjoyed...it was just somethign I whipped together because of the lack of KakaNaru AMVs. Truth is, I haven't seen any true KakaNaru AMVs out there. This is probably because
A - There are no descent KakaNaru clips from the anime or movies
B - The pairing isn't popular enough to spawn anyone to make KakaNaru AMVs

Personally, I'm leanign towards the first option. I mean, truthfully it's not like Kakashi and Naruto have a "real" moment in the anime that could be used for AMVs...at least not as much as SasuNaru moments. Even the aniem fillers don't provide solid KakaNaru alone time...
However! Do not give up hope. I have a feelign once Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles start, there will be plenty of KakaNaru clips to play with since...well...yes...Kakashi finally gets around to spending time with Naruto. Mwhahah KakaNaru will no longer be fanservice dang it!

Truthfully, just someone saying something about there not being lots of KakaNaru moments to make a vid makes me want to make one. I mean, I already have a song I want to do and I have an idea (and which clips!). Just I don't have the clips and I've never made an AMV. But the basic idea I usually have for these things is to use the expressions and put those with the feel of the song. So an angry Naruto will go with an angry part in the song, or something like that. I'll try to make a slideshow to show what I'm saying, since I really can't make an AMV. I made a pretty good slideshow for Kagome in Inuyasha so I'll try one for these two.

Ahem, regarding fanfiction, indeed one thing about some fanfiction is that sometimes characters can be written WAY out of character...I mean a good majority of SasuNaru has Sasuke less emo then he actually is/was per say. I think the hardest person to actually characterize is Naruto himself. So many people try for that "boy behind the smile" yet...I think Naruto's most charming attribute is the fact he overcomes his hardships on his own terms. Reading about how "Naruto has turned his back on Konoha" may be interesting, but really...the way Naruto is...unless Konoha has decided to [thinks] resort to human sacrifices to appease the war god Nataku, most likely Naruto won't resort to a "Sasuke-like" self.

I admit, OOC grates on the nerves at times...but on the otherhand, as a fanfic author you got to admit...staying in TRUE character is hard unless you study the character inside and out. Even then everyone has thier own idealism of who the character is. Out of all the fanfiction I've read from every fandom I can think of, there was only one ("Bless the Little Beast and all the Children" - Gundam Wing) that really nailed the characters, and that it's an AU.

Personally, I don't mind AUs considering they can be fun to read and are easier to write (XD once you write it it can't mess up certain story arcs that may or may not take place in the manga...Nooooo Asuma! [cough]) However, since we are in a pairing which has a low American fanbase (at least compared to other pairings)...I'll take what I can get, LOL. I tried translating some Japanese KakaNaru fiction....[gets dizzy] Naaaah, I don't know how translators do it! It's one thing to see exspression in comics, but Japanese writtings can be ambigious.

There ARE some people how make Naruto sucidal (over 90% of the suicidal fanfics are about him cutting himself :(). Too me, it means that they don't have much ideas on how to make Naruto's life VERY angsty and tragic when it comes too AU fanfics. Though, there is one KakaNaru fanfics that involves Naruto almost falling down the Hokage mountain in suicidal at a young age :doh

As for Itachi, yes you do need to research him like crazy XD Another hard person to make IC is the Fourth Hokage himself since we BARELY know about him except about the past in Kakashi Gaiden. Though, I can imagin how he is.

My biggest problem with fanfiction writers is they don't know how to classify their fanfiction.

There have been so many times, where I have used the filter at ffnet and filtered to just see Kakashi and Naruto based fanfictions. And over half the stories either don't have Kakashi or Naruto in them! I don't mind the brotherly/father/son relationship stories. But holy cow people if you are going to list those two as the main characters in your story, at least have them in their.

And for those of you who are members of the kakanaru fan community at LJ, I made a challenge there. So please participate. I can also post the challenge to fanclub, if y'all would like me too.

I keep thinking that the OC making authors should at least try ad write the actual characters in the story and not make a character that could be god-like (could kill anyone....have special powers, ect.) that they made. It gets on my nerves!

Eh...m-preg. I'm squeamish about writing it, but I guess I could read read it without any problems. And if soemone really wanted me to write it, I guess I can force myself to. I mean, I'm squeamish writing lime, smut or whatever, but that doesn't stop me from writing it.

Mary Sues must die. I will only create an OC that doesn't play much a part or whatever. If he/she is likable, I'll find something to do with them that'll exclude putting too much importance on them in the story.

Hmm a request...actually here is one for you. It's almost a "what if" scenario. What if Naruto was Kakashi's sensei when Kakashi was a genin? Would things be diffrent or the same? [smirks] would Kakashi be uke or still remain seme? [waves flag] onegai Omnichan...I request that...a reverse of roles if you will.

Or...[tilts head] hmmm...something creative. Like, oh hears an idea based on another anime. How about the curse of Yin and Yang! Like a jutsu that causes a person to react the exact opposite of how they feel for a person. For example, if Naruto is falling in love with Kakashi, then suddenly he gets really annoyed with him and....[thinks] calls him a pervert while smashing him into a wall or something. [grins] It would be funny if Naruto becomes real childish and starts listing things that he "hates" about Kakashi and tries to ignore him. Though, now thinking about it...would Kakashi care?
