And oh my god, GX is the best Gundam series I've seen. I love the way how the main pilot was good even without all the special features, for example, stuff like Newtype, Zero System, or SEED Mode. The plot was more believable to, even though I can't explain it, since I've never been to good with stuff like that that. My only problem with GX is that the ending seemed a little bit rushed. And It was only 39 episodes. When all the Gundam Series I have seen were all over 40 Episodes. But the ending doesn't take much away from the enjoyment of the series. But at the end I was left with a kinda numb feeling. It was like I just finished something great and now what. Sorry if the post sounds scatter brained. Anyway I would recommend this series to and Gundam fan. And if anyone has seen it could you please post your opinion of the series.

Wow, at least I don't feel alone anymore. :amuse
Gundam X is like watching a UC (hence, it was a alternative scenario to the One Year War...), with some UC elements present (a little fanservice, bitch slapping, mecha battles almost every episode...) and a very likeable protagonist (Garrod Ran, that is...) who doesn't have special abilities - just plain kick-ass piloting skills.
It's nice to hear that you also liked Gundam X, though, as you said, my only beef is that the ending was rushed. If at least 10 episodes were added, Gundam X could have ended better. Though I am not complaining on how it actually ended, it's just I wanted to see more of Gundam X in space, better development of the Space Rebellion people and more G-Falcon Unit Double X! smile-big

Ive actually almost finished watching Gundam X, down to the last 3 episodes, but it is a really great show.
The series was suppose to run for 49 eps but was canceled after 39. There have been many theories around as to why it was canceled but nothing official.

I also like Gundam X. For some reason, it was alot more believable than the other gundams, at least when it comes to the main character. I always liked how Garrod didn't have any special abilities or a gundam with some super-computer that did all the work for you. He just kicked ass, plain and simple. :)

Well, garrod does have a special talent/ability - his ability to adapt to new situations in battle He won the battle with his upgraded GX divider because the twin brother wasn't prepared for it while he adapted. Its been 3 yrs since I last watch GX, but I think GX is designed to boost new types ability and control *mobile dolls don't know gx name for it*. But then again, I won't say he is a kick ass pilot, I just think his gundam made others look way weaker :P the two big ass cannon on his back :P

Yeah it seems that Gundam X is the least known series out there. So I'm glad people besides my self like it.

Agreed Gundam X was amazing, Garrod just being a normal person was a great idea one that I wish more Gundam series would use. If it had been allowed to run it's full length I think X could have been the best gundam series of all of them.

Actually in my opinion if it were to run longer I think something stupid would have been discovered, like Garrod was a newtype or something and he inhereted it from his father or some shit like that. Because all through out the series I couldn't shake the feeling that the something was being hinted at.
