This is my second video, featuring footage from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the song Devil Inside by UtaDa (Hikaru Utada). It's available in both a low quality and a high quality format. I put a lot of work into this, so please give feedback. It's always appreciated.

Actually I thought it was pretty good. I mainly liked it because I was looking for a good FF7 amv anyways. So good job :)

Upload it to another site and i'll review it, but the way it's to be downloaded now is just stupid....

what's wrong with the upload? Filefront isn't incredibly fast, but it's reliable, and it's the best I can do for a file of that size.

i saw this vid. really i felt that there was no reasoning behind the song and the AMV.. kinda did not go well together that and you did not have a theme .. normally if its an action based AMV get a more pumped up song etc.
Timing needs work. Need to time your video's to basically keep the intrest to the watcher and it makes the overall AMV alot better.

huh, I'm not catching everything you say. Sure there's a theme, just check the title. It's not really an "action" video so much as it is kind of dramatic. I guess it's kind of a character profile video for Tifa, Cloud, and Sephiroth. Also, the song is as it's supposed to be. I had really planned more to find good footage to go with the song than vice-versa, so I didn't want to go near a song that would get the viewer "pumped," so much as I wanted footage that would express the message of the song, that people in general are sinners at heart, that deep down below the labels and pretty appearances that they're marked with, they would willingly fight and kill for their cause.
As for the timing, I understand its importance, but more specifically, could you give me some examples (i.e. times) of where it seems off?

basically the whole video i mean it could have been timed more with the song and little more effects to make it appeal more to the veiwer it just felt like i was watching clip to clip and really nothing i felt to it.
but since its your second attempt i should not be to harsh.
but work with propper parts for your AMV with your song
timeing
effects ( somewhat) i know effects do not make a video but they help and keep the veiwer intrested.

well, I do think that the parts are proper. that's purely a matter of opinion, and that goes more as a rating for the "appeal" category than for "content."
as for special effects, I did use them, believe me. I didn't want to spam them, since too much of them makes the video look amateurish, and the content contained so much cg effects as it were that there was only so much that I could do. superimposing and dramatic fading were the main ones, but I also used film effect later on.
