Ich kann nur wenig deutsch sprechen.

but i think this one sounds better:

Ich kann nicht so gut deutsch sprechen.

Meine Deutschkenntnisse sind gering.

I haven't seen any native German speaker post anything in German in this thread, yet. Well, either that or he/she just didn't have a German keyboard... in which case one would usually write grün as gruen instead of grùn, soo... No. No native German speakers, yet. smile-big

Time to change that...

Leider hab' ich keine Ahnung was ich schreiben soll, also lass' ich's mal hierbei. :ninja

Magst du Käse??

Ihgitt. Käse. Nee. Naja... Kommt drauf an was drunter ist... Also auf Burgern und Pizza, durch Hackfleisch gemischt oder über Gyros und anderes Balkanessen ist Käse ganz geil. :nod

What an interesting group of languages. It's like the Axis Learning Thread, with English for comparison. XD

I have little interest in learning Italian (Latin, someday...) but I'm currently learning German, and have been playing with Japanese for quite some time.

I love the Pimsleur learning disks. <3

Was beteutet das wort Käse auf English? Something to do with food from the rant, I ... think?

(here's hoping I got that question right, translating to text what I hear on a disk isn't always easy.)

Wow. Just some minor spelling mistakes. :amuse
"Was bedeutet das Wort Käse auf Englisch?" would have been correct.

Käse heißt auf englisch cheese.

Käse is cheese in english.

Heheh. Have problems remembering to capitalize things that I normally don't.

Cheeeeze, eh? I'm not very far along in my studies. The Pimsleur system is very... random. But what I know, I remember! Unlike my personal studies in Japanese, which is like two steps forward, one step back and to the side. :ninja

Same here... I keep forgetting Japanese stuff all the time. Don't ask how many times I already had to look up すべて, the particle に and the stroke orders of 左 and 右 already. :(
