Since the flashback should end soon I thought we could discuss the upcoming fight:) So who fights who, and how will the weaker mugiwara win. Will Robin have a fight too?

Blueno and Nero....knocked out already, Spamdam too weak, Robin will just watch (and maybe a quick beating on Spamdam at the end). That leave Sanji without a fight but he already fought several in the train. If not then he'll probably get Franky's fight against Zipper mouth

As much as I love Ussop i just don't see him fighting the second strongest CP9 member...But on the other hand this is Oda we're talking about here so he can make it work ;]

It would be a good opportunity to show Ussop/Sogeking be able to overcome his fear and become a stronger fighter than before. But I still think Sanji or Zoro are more logical choices.

Well cp9 has 3 strong ones and 3... for a lack of a better word, weaker guys. Same goes with the strawhats... so id go with...

Luffy vs Lucci and hattori (no one takes the pigeon in account, oh well) This is a bit obvious.

Zoro vs. Kaku. their second round. the rematch as serurarenge said.

Sanji vs. Jyabura. the third strongest cp9 vs. the third strongest straw hat. it's kinda obvious.

Chopper vs. The Samurai like guy who is obsessed with sepukku. This guy seems to use his hair as a wepon. Sounds like a good one to see the rumble balls in action.

Sogeking vs. the zipper guy don't recall his name right. If his only weak point is the mouth (that's just supposition don't mind it) it would be a good match to see Ussop true skills as a sniper. he has to be good for something.

Nami vs. Califa. woman vs. woman. no problem there.

I'd have to agree with Raptor here, Luffy vs. Lucci is obvious, of course, and I wouldn't say Zoro vs. Kaku because Kaku is the second strongest but because the guy uses the things he has on his belt like swords, plus the two have already had a little fight between them so a rematch is expected. Sanji vs. the asian guy(hey, I'm not always good with names) makes sense since it seems he's eaten one of the zoan family fruit like Lucci, meaning he's a hand to hand fighter. Women, of course, makes sense. The only thing actually shaky is zipper guy and the guy who's always trying to kill himself, but I'd say the matches that Raptor said would be the most likely, I just keep imagining Usopp shooting stuff into that guy's mouth. Now, as for Spandam himself, I'd say that he's probably going to just cower and get his ass beaten at the end after the Straw Hats finish and gang up on him. Either that, or Franky will get back up and pay him back for what he did to Tom.

Well Kaku might very well be the 3rd strongest. His Dokuro was barely above Jyabura's, that is a Jyabura without a devil fruit. And the way Jyabura and Lucci acted towards each other, I'd say they're actually closer in strength once they transform into Zoans. While Kaku barely gained is and won't be as proefficient with it as the others.

The others are harder to call.

Kaku will probably fight Zoro, Sanji will probably fight Jyabura, Usopp will probably fight Fukuro, and Chopper will probably fight Kumadori, but they could wind up in any way, really.

Part of me wonders whether Zoro will fight the samurai guy, since he's a sword user. I mean, strength be damned, Zoro should want to fight the swordsman. That's what he's about!

I'm also wondering about whether the other Straw Hats will steal techniques from CP9. I'm expecting Sanji to learn the two kicking techniques, certainly, but it would be nice if the others did too. Zoro could take their finger thrust tech and adapt it to be used with a sword. Now that would be powerful. And if Ussop learned one, it would help him feel stronger and therefore like he deserves to remain a SH.

Soru, tekkai, shigan, and some others. I can't really remember most of them, either.

Rankyaku - Cutting with the air using feet that creates a "kamikaze."
Shigan - Pierces like a bullet with the finger.
Soru - Fast movement.
Tekkai - Enhanced resistance that mimicks an iron shell. (If it's just that it's quite a downgrade... even a Frankly family member had stronger armor... then there's Mr. 1's steel, Ohm's thick Iron Cloud... heck even Don Kreig had iron armor...)

I think Sogeking > Sanji in this arc. Well it is my opinion only.

Well, i'd love to have Sogeking take on someone like Jyabura as much as the next guy, it's just that I doubt Sanji will not get a challenge...especially when he and Zoro are like rivals in strength in the Strawhats and since Jyabura was only like 30 points or something lower than Kaku.
