i read a study in a magazine at the doctor's office that said brittish women had a better hip to waist ratio 50 years ago than they do now, also the DNA hasn't changed much, but the diet has, people eat lots more carbs now and less meat and fat. so that means that people on atkins should be curvy, but there not... at all... i have a cousin on atkins her whole life, and she's got no figure. i suppose that means that the more we learn about the universe the less sense it makes :P

I think people should only eat red meat, and donuts, lots of donuts.
The world would be a better place.

I heard diets are nothing but a way for companies to scam your sorry ass into spending your money into something useless with very little results.

Actually, eating a bit of everything is the most efficient way to diet >_< but vegetables and Fruits are the most important, egg whites help too!

Totally true. Half the shitty diets out there don't work, and those that do end up messing you up (Aktins, I'm looking at you). Healthy dieting and exercise is the way to go, people are just too lazy to get off their asses.
Back on topic, I'm pretty sure it has to do with DNA and thats what I always thought... Maybe the change is gradual and passed on through evolution I guess with the meat eating.

Just eat what you want then exercise you lazy people.

but breasts are basicaly fat sacks, so exersizng wouldn't really help, also there was a mirical diet in the 20s, that worked by giving you a pill full of tapeworm eggs O.o

Of course it does, now its complicated and its good for you.lol.

Exercicing too much and dieting will indeed reduce the size of your breasts...
So yes, eat enough, varied and DURING meals. If you eat lots of snacks you're ready to take some pounds.
But if you desperately don't want to grow... Then don't sleep. In fact, not sleeping will also make sure you don't grow as fast. You might even shrink from lack of sleep. :D
EDIT: Oh and of course, exercise. As in walk every day, run around the house. it's enough to burn what you eat. That's what I do and I'm underweight... Naturally, I'm not a girl either, so perhaps my metabolism differs.

Razgriez is correct.
The whole dieting industry, in general (about 98%), is a bunch of voodoo horseshit.
Atkins, Zone, South Beach Diet, food combining, low-no carb, low-no fat, etc. really isn't necessary once you realize that losing weight (preferrably fat) is a function of calories in vs calories out (edit: for most people, in general. However, "nutritionists" (sic) who write all of these books know that people in general hate counting calories, so they dumb it down for the masses.
Between April and November of 2004, I lost about 80+ lbs down from 250 to about 167 eating a sensible diet rich in lean proteins, complex carbs, and heatlhy fats. I ate around 1800-2000 calories a day, and I ate about 4-6 times a day (every 2-3 hours).
You should definitely include some kind of resistance training during your diet, so if you can, go join a gym and train! I'd lift around 3-4 times a week during that timespan and I did about 45 mins of cardio on an elliptical 3x a week to get down from 250 to 183 (although I didn't start at 45 mins obviously =P), then I switched to about 45 mins of cardio 6x a week. All that cardio isn't necessary though, it really depends on your BMR (how many calories your body burns daily) which again is either a function of your metabolism, diet, activity levels, etc.
I really could go on about this topic for hours, but if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability! :jir_thumb

visit: http://mypyramid.gov/
Moderate activity is now considered to a part of everyone's diet.
Fad diets are not a good solution for eating healthy and getting the nutrition you need. If you want to learn more about a healthy and well-balanced diet, the best source to visit is mypyramid.gov.

Gluten sensitivity increases the difficulty of maintaining a healthy diet. Unfortunately, you will have to think ahead more and spend more time planning your diet than people without allergies. People with gluten sensitivity probably have the hardest time planning their diets out of anyone.
I did a search on gluten sensitivity on google and I came up with these following sites. These may help.
http://www.aglutenfreelife.com/
http://www.shopbydiet.com/store/glutenfree/
http://www.celiacspecialties.com/
http://www.patsypie.com/welcome.html
And if you want some general info about gluten sensitivity and celiac disease.
http://www.finerhealth.com/Educational_Info/Gluten_Sensitivity/ (http://www.finerhealth.com/Educational_Info/Gluten_Sensitivity/)
And in an attempt to educate, here is a quote from the mypyramid.gov
"How much physical activity is needed?
At a minimum, do moderate intensity activity for 30 minutes most days, or preferably every day. This is in addition to your usual daily activities."
-http://mypyramid.gov/pyramid/physical_activity_amount.html (http://mypyramid.gov/pyramid/physical_activity_amount.html)
If you are concerned about losing weight, talk with Ero-Tensei, he seems to have modified his lifestyle and accomplished a good result.
And as a last note, if you are losing more than 2 pounds or 1 kilo per week, you are more likely to rebound and gain your lost weight back.

LOL
ive known that i had celiac since i was little, and so did my dad, and his dad (knewn that he had celiac that is), i know how to handle it. you don't need to tell me, i was just pointing out that the government sucks, and is lying to you, like when it says that all people are equal, there are still religious leaders disscussing weather or not women have souls, (i think they decided that they don't) the entire govornment is just one big conspiricy.
also i think that people weren't ment to eat gluten, and to support this, when a 3 of my freinds had the choice between candy and pizza, they came to my house, and ate all our cabage O.o BTW their ages were 14, 18, and 19

Yes you are correct, (I had to edit my post.)
There are definitely exceptions to the rule with people, (hormones, allergies, metabolic problems, thyroid problems, etc.) that prevent them from losing weight when they reduce calories.
Also, mercycubed brings up a good point about losing more than 2lbs (around 1 kilo) per week. Try to keep your weightloss to to about 1-1.5 lbs a week at least, in order to perserve your LBM and keep your metabolism from dropping too low. Having a cheat meal or meals for like one day also helped to rebound my metabolism for the following 6 days, but don't go too overboard. =P
