To answer your question, I think it was VirtualDub.

Well, I take screenshots using Windows Media... I can only take screens from things that play on it, :P
Step 1:

Tools, Options

Step 2:

Performance, Then move the "Video Acceleration" to 0.

And then just use the PRINT SCREEN button (On your keyboard) on any Windows Media Video File and paste it on MSPAINT and upload it to a Image Host and put it here or anywhere! :laugh

virtualdub is the program I use for getting clips and taking screen caps.

You can do a google search for virtualdub to find it.

to take screencaps with it..just act as if you were going to take a sequence of frames...but only save one frame as your image sequence.
