ALL magic/materiaFF7 wins this. Goku actually has limited stamina, while FF7 characters can literally go forever. Final Attack/Pheonix+MP Steal/Master Summon. If that isn't enough, just have Selphie do "The End" and insta-kill Goku. It works on everyone.

heres a large number of 'insta' kill abilities.
even with Goku moving fast i'm pretty sure abilitys like Darkness from FF2 will take him down with no problems.

Goku is not immune to spells if I remember right. So the FFclic wins. And I doubt Goku would win over Nemesis or Yojimbo (instant deaths).

FFVII Lucky 7's. FInal attack pheonix and knights of the round. Or Aurons zombiestrike and overload Goku with X-potions.

I really think Goku is going to need his ssj transformations for this battle.
Anyways, they could just use a summon to take care of Goku.

Trance Kuja from ffix could do it alone he destroyed a planet so he's on DBZ level easily.

Huh? Kuja never destroyed a planet. But he was very powerful.

Whole universe? Yeah goku doesn't stand a chance:with all the summons, curse spells,(turn him into a damn frog),etc..too much really ..i'm gonna stop
FFuniverse wins
Trance Kuja from ffix could do it alone he destroyed a planet so he's on DBZ level easily.
Someone even earlier on in DBZ (say Freiza saga) could effortlessly destroy someone who is capable of destroying a planet. Vegeta with a powerlevel of around 18000 could destroy Earth, there's not much to go by later on terms of powerwise, but Freiza's 2nd form transformation exceeded 1 million, that's enough to destroy Earth 100 times over... it's possible his final form is well over 10x greater than that, meaning more than capable of destroying it 1000x over. That was only just the Freiza saga... Then just consider the spirit bomb used against majin buu...
So planet destruction really isn't much.
But Goku will possibly lose considering he's facing multiple universes at the same time...

yeah he did it was the planet that him and Ziadane were created when he went all trance he destroyed the entire planet. Also I know planet destruction wasn't that big of a deal but for people like Vagita or goku to destoy the planet it took quite alot of effort but Kuja did it as easily as Frieza not the same way but as easily.

Also if you think about it, they can just use Pheonix Downs on anyone who drops? I don't see how Goku can win without some extreme planet killing (which also kills Goku)

Hmmm, maybe Kuja did, It's been a while since I've seen my uncle play the game. But planet destroying isn't that impressive, since we really don't know how much it whould take to destroy it. I mean Kuja can destroy a planet, the DBZ characters could also destroy a planet, but that's not telling me who's more powerful since all of them can blow up planets.:)

It depends on how fast Goku blows the planet on which they are fighting and flees with instant transmission out of the way.

That whould be fleeing from battle though, so they automatically win if he does that.

Read the title and first post. During the Frieza saga Goku didn't know how to do instant transmission.

Any single character from most of the FF's could win under optimum conditions.
This isn't a fair fight whatsoever.

Battlefield - Supreme Kai's planet.
Didn't anyone one see this?
remember what the gravity's like on that planet, it'd be enough to kill a regular person in an instant. And I'd think Goku, even with his gravity training would find it difficult. But the FF characters haven't had any gravity training whats so ever, so it'd be likely that most of the FF characters would be wiped out by the gravity and the rest would have trouble moving.
Goku wins by default..(of being the only one to move)

How else was Araes killed and not able to be phoenix downed in FF7?
And most FF characters are affected by GUNS.
I don't see how they are all that great apart from the abstraction of RPGs made to make the player feel more pwerful.

Actually, in some games it revives the dead, that's a bit inconsistent.
About guns, they are also very inconsistent. A bullet is a bullet usually, but strangely enough if you give Barret's machine gun arm to a level 1 character, it might do 1-50 dmg on a tough opponent, but put it on a level 99 Barret with full equipment, it can do 9999 damage and kill in one shot.
It depends on who uses the gun, and how powerful the gun is, I suppose.
In Final Fantsy VI a team of 4 was able to defeat (rather easily I might add) a guy that had the powers of gods behind him, and was able to reshape the entire planet on a whim. And shortly after, they were afraid of falling down a hole.
If you take one character, and make him invisible, and cast reflect, shell, protect, and haste, he should be able to kill Goku alone. Also, you can use that afterimage spell (forgot the name) and make him invincible to physical attack for 1 turn, or turn him into a zombie, and make him unkillable except by a curative spell, or phoenix down.

Do you count the Spirits Within universe as inside the multiverse? Because those ghosts could probably kill Goku, seeing as he would never guess the nature of their attack.
Would haste make them faster than Goku? Reflect? Isn't that only reflecting magical spells? Protect? Doesn't that reduce physical damage only? Not nullifying it? Invisibilty won't affect much as Goku could fight as effectively with his eyes alone, though I don't neccessarily recall a spell like that but then again I havne't played every FF... They'd also have to cast all that before he could attack.

Play Final Fantasy VI it has all of those spells in it.
Assuming there are all of the characters there, they should at least be able to cast those on one character, before Goku destroys everyone. The rest could be distracting him with Meteo, Ultima, summons, throwing spoons at him, etc...

The gravity on Kaioshins planet seems to be the same as earths...you seem to forget Mr. Satan had no trouble walking in there. The gravity is normal...
Just summon Odin a.k.a. Wotan.

If we're going to go by the storylines then I'm sure that Zidane and Kuja teaming up could kill Goku.
