Evangelion! But to this day I regretted purchasing the dubbed version of the VHSs...why didn't I buy the subbed ones even though they were more expensive. -_- (The DVDs weren't released yet then, and few people knew what DVDs were back then anyway)

Naruto isn't even a top10 anime on my list. It's quite entertaining and all in the anime, but having that much dialogue in battles, dosen't make sense. That's why I like the manga better, it goes faster as you can just skip to the next page when you have read the text and don't have to watch 20 seconds of unnecessary scenes to the next dialogue.
