What about Ishida? He got no powers anymore.. Why does he still challenge Ichigo? "Next time we see echother.. We're enemies" he said..

And that bald squad eleven guy (kikkun or something) thinks he can win against Ichigo when Kenpachi and Byakuya got defeated by him? :D

In his current state its pretty obvious Ishida can't match Ichigo, as for Ikkaku (the 11th division guy you're thinking of), given the basic way Bleach works, its not too farfetched for him to catch up, personally I would rather see the captains all working to keep up with Ichigo because they're growth would make much more sense.

I made the same topic about Ishida...

And Ikkaku only wanted to fight Ichigo with Bokken, not zanpaktous. He has an advantage in terms of fighting skills if they both use wooden swords. Ichigo is used to drawing power from his Zanpaktou.

ishida doesent directly challenge ichigo hes just saying when they come back they are enemies again like they were be4 they went to SS. it's hes whole deal. shinigami's and quichis or whatever cant be "friends"

read the manga. You will be surprised with how the story had progressed so far. Ishida does lost his power now but they are only fighting with the sticks so no real zanpaktous are involved.

ichigo actually could beat ikkaku in pure sword skills. if i remember the fight he didnt really get a powerboost in that fight unlike the ken-chan fight

Ichigo beat Ikkaku through his sheer strength which comes from his enormus reiatsu....That was how he was able to cut through Hoozukimaru like that.

Sword skill wise, Ikkaku displays much more skill then Ichigo. He uses his sword/sheath combo in a pretty intelligent manner...Especially in the manga.

In sparring/wooden sword play it is alot different.

Ikkaku is implying he is better skilled than Ichigo. And this would be purely a fight of skill with a sword, which Ichigo more or less lacks.

No Uber Reiatsu, No Shikai, No Bankai. Juss sword skill.

Not really. At the begining of their fight Ikkaku was mocking Ichigo's speed, but afterwards Ichigo was comenting on Ikkaku being to slow. Since then, he's had two powerups and gotten faster each time. To the point were he was taking down three VC's with no sword.

i love that scene. probably watched it 30 times. that song is teh shit. hmm harrison guess i have to see that fight again then. i meant that he took him with some skills nt just pure spirit power but i guess i was wrong

you guys are bang on about the cueball he was talking a wodden sword fight not an all out spirit power battle.

as for Ishida you gotta remember that
1) ichigos relationship with almost every one is based on being tough. even if he is totaly out of your legue you still talk shit and challenge each other like ganju for example.

also

2) no one knows that Ishida has lost his powers. he hasnt told any one, his powers dont resonate in the same way spiritpower does and there has not been any situation which would cause people to realize his powers are gone.

blues is totally right

I wonder if Ichigo could take Ikkaku apart with his bare hands. I mean, he's trained with Tatsuki in hand to hand and since then he has boosted his speed to the point of taking on VCs without his weapon. I could see him taking Ikkaku apart even without a sword let alone a wooden one.

They haven't figured out he has lost his powers yet...atleast not in the anime. I believe it was last episode Ichigo asked him where his mantle? was and Ishida said it was being washed or something along those lines.

when Ichigo was fighting ikkaku , they both spilled each others blood at the same time on the first attack, Ikkaku making 4 attacks on Ichigo
while Icihigo made only 3 attacks and won the match, this is showing that Ichigo was on his low spirit power , coz if he was at the same status when he was fighting Byakuya Ikkaku with be NO problem......
