the two protagonists of type-moon's most popular games duke it out unhindered, along with the fact that they exist in the same universe and fight using the same rules of their world.
shiki has the direct eyes of death which allow him to comprehend and destroy anything by slashing their lines of death
while shirou has the unlimited blade works and has an unlimited arsenal of extremely powerful weapons at his disposal.
although from the beginning it was seriously leaning towards shiki i can see how shirou could win.
