Bleach: the fillers there is hope yet!!

after seeing episode 64 i was a bit dissapointed with some stuff that didnt happen in the manga and mess with that story but i guess it had to be done to introduce this filler

anyway after the episode was over i was surprised to see a new ending (of witch i dont like the song, or the stupid looking fluffy creatures)
anyway watching the ending halfway through

some new characters were introduced, and the art looked pretty good so far

i was also happy to see those characters were put in the ending witch makes it highly likable that the bleach fillers will be 1 arc with one storyline

unlike the 5-10 episode story twists in naruto (burn filler story writers:mad )

anyway what do you guys think?

She was adorable! And probably evil as sin.

I actually like the filler episode. It wasn't that bad at all, and I'm actually curious to see where the anime goes with it. I'd say it's several times over better than the Naruto fillers.

To be honest I think they might be good, didnt last episodes preview say something about angels? Remember the other trio, they might be the devil since they atleast look evil unlike the other ones.

Who do you think was Orihime's brother? I personnaly think the mask guy, He might of escaped the naruto fillers and came to bleach :laugh . He really reminds me of Greed from full metal alchemist.

I didn't really have much of a problem with the first filler, so if you think it'll only get better then, I'll be even more impressed with it.

Well there wasn't such a massive outcry against Naruto at first...But that changed.

Though I do admit the first Bleach fillers have proven better then the first Naruto ones.

Bleach fillers are slightly easier to do I think, a big problem with the fillers is the moronic fighting...Fortunately for the fillers the fighting in Bleach is already pretty dumb (no tactics or the like).

Well, I just saw the first Bleach filler and here's my two cents worth for those who feel like reading it ^_^

Like most Bleach fans, I really wasn't expecting great things from 64, considering how great fillers usually are (Naruto, anyone?) But I must admit that I was impressed by 64. Honestly, if I hadn't known that Bleach was going away from the manga, I wouldn't have known this was filler (although that gate at the end was kinda...dumb)
I have the feeling that the fillers are going to revert back to the feel of the first 15 episodes--a mix of school life, Ichigo's home life, introspection of the spiritually talented, hollow fighting, and, of course, filler villains. (woo-hoo!) Although this first arc seems like a long one (for filler), I think we'll get a little more depth on the main characters, and in the end of the whole filler season it'll tie into the manga somehow, saying that the bad guys were Aizen's minions or something like that.
My other immediate reaction to 64 was "wow...Orihime is even dumber than I thought" I mean, the spitting image of her DEAD older brother shows up at her house in the middle of the night, brings forth a huge-ass gate decorated with flaming skeletons, and invites her to follow him and she just...makes him a pot of tea and goes??? Yeah, real smart move, girl...
But that aside, it's pretty okay. If the rest of the season is like this, I can handle it. ^_^ And if not...well, they could do A LOT worse, like pair Ichigo with Orihime or have Ganju come to earth...

ahaha ganji coming to earth would be great. i love all these funny characters in bleach (specially ichigos brownhaired friend). the whole filler arc could be full of ichigos dad and it would be funny as crap. thats the thing that got me staying in this show before the SS arc. just the humor in all the characters. first ep when ichigo flykicks rukia. Its her brother for crying out loud, if renji can arrive from soul society why cant he, that is probably what she was thinking, also why would she think that he wasn't real, he knows everything, the hollow part, the bunny scene and so on and I guess in the end that she was in a trance.

I personally found that bit quit annoying, but maybe its just me.

If they can make this filler arc last a whole season (as appossed to two to five episodes) I think it should be promising. If wasn't for the fact that I accidently read a page of the manga that was on TV less then a year later, I wouldn't have asked weither this was a filler episode or not. But of course only time will tell us if the Bleach fillers are going to be worth a damn.

I'm liking them so far, much better than the Don Kanonji stuff and the usual mediocre Naruto fillers. They went through the trouble of creating an ending song just for it and they seem to hve thought about the plot and new characters quite a lot. I'm really liking it so far.

what do you mean changed your attitude towards the series? how so?

as for the fillers i think they are going down the right road. They are making it an intellectual thing not something that can be taken care of with raw power, which is a downfall of naruto i think.

Reading the manga, it made it hard for me to accept anything new in the Naruto anime at all because I couldn't think of it as anything but made up rubbish and not part of the creator's intentions, so this doesn't just include the filler arcs, it includes stuff like Kimimaro's past too. I didn't want to have that attitude but I couldn't help it.

Also, I know fine well for a fact that I never enjoyed Naruto more than when I was an anime only watcher. When you watch the anime only, you basically get 2-3 new chapters worth of material every week (excluding filler). When you follow the manga, you get one chapter so the pace is slowed right down to a standstill.
