Who wins this epic battle?
Dragonball has been well known as having a lot inconsistence, from Goku barely lifting a bus, or being threatened by a sharp rock, after he survived being shot in the head by a gun when he a child, to Raditz being "faster than light" while it takes Gotenks X number of seconds to go around the world a few times.
Comics are also wildly inconsistent. Probably more so than DBZ, but I'll add in DBZ Anime as well, just to even this fight out a little.
Comics are not allowed animated or movie counterparts.

You sir/madam are a disgrace to Dragonball and Common sense. You cannot go faster that the speed of light, second Raditz is not that fast. Goku’s Instancetranslocation = speed of light. Gotenks did not go around the globe he circled it. You are a disgrace to your self and Akira Toriyama...

I'd just like to point that say, Spider-man has been running for something like 30 years... Inconsistencies are bound to crop out :p
DBZ has not only been around for a much shorter time: It's all done by the same author.

Comic inconsistancies win. They get to cover it up and explain it away.
Like Hulk holding open a black hole. Whoa.

comic inconsistancies win.
Although i might add some db ones. In db when goku brought that rabbit guy to the moon on his powerpole, he went into space. Later he's screwed because he can't survive in space.
Piccolo's most powerful blast in the third tourney makes a small crater. In later chapters, he blows up the moon with a litte blast. Then when napa comes, piccolo is blown away at the size of the hole napa made in the ground. Hello piccolo, you just blew up the moon a couple of months ago why are you shitting your pants over a hole in the ground.
1. The moon in dragon ball is the size of an airplane about 50 miles in the air.
2. They just didn't care.
I'm thinking it's more 2.

Disregard them.
Goku’s Instancetranslocation = speed of light. Also a dub line, Shunkan Idou is instanteous as soon as the user locks on to a ki signature. It's teleportation, and therefore has no set speed.

Valid point, but I included anime for DBZ to give it an edge in the battle, so for this fight, the dub counts against Dragonball with its numerous inconsistent points.
Anyway, this isn't an overall battle, it's just a battle of which had the better inconsistencies.
Saying that comics have been around longer is a moot point. Does it have better inconsistencies? If so, you have to point them out, not just say "yes".

What FU said is right....them saying Radditz going at the speed of light was not a mistake....thats because it wasnt in the manga...it was a stupid dub line. And Instantaneous Movement is exactly what it is...instant...them mentioning it to be the speed of light is another stupid dub line...

Comic Inconsistencies win.
Why?
Because DBZ never gave out no No-Prizes!
