I think that Dreams are some sort of time and space gap between the present reality and the Future. Of course saying that one believes in forseeing the future is saying that he believes in Destiny. And if he believes in destiny he is implying that all that is to happen has already been written by some superior being. If all is writeen, than all is navigable. That way its possible to Time Travel between a certain line of space and time.

Why are we capable of seeing the future through dreams? Deja Vu. I think a deja vu is reminding ourselfs of something we didn't know we had in our mind. In certain dreams we view various future events and record them into our subconscient. But due to our human impedence of using 100% of our brains, we can only recall them when they are starting to happen. A few of us can recall them before the event. The so called orocles.

If we dream about them it means they are bound to happen, either we know previously or during the moment. So if I believe in this I can say that the future is all written down and we navigate towards the inevitable.

If we are all pre destined then we can travel through the written destiny but everything we'll do is bound to happen so we aren't in control.

Just don't ask me how would a time travelling machine work. It would probably had something to do with wormholes and space voids.

What do you think?

I like the creativity, but I don't agree with your idea at all. I don't believe in predetermination. And I think dreams are a random re-hash of thoughts of the past.
The problem with predetermination is that it gives a person an out to complain endlessly because nothing is their fault.
This would be a complete in-character statement for Neji to make, after he and Hinata hit the Hyuuga Houkah.

I believe that dreams may be two things. A glimpse to future events or a random set of events and thoughts you had during the day or even past ones put together in a random form creating a totally random event, that may has some coerence or may be completly out of order.

The second ones are the ones which sometimes you remember when you wake up. The first ones are those that are deep in your subconscient and you can't recall them upon will.

Thats my belief.

But one thing that I was trying to say is that if someone believes in destiny they believe in time travel.

I'm with Freud on this one, dreams are there, and can be interpreted as something on our minds. I have a hard time interpreting my own dreams, but apparently I do a decent job of doing it for my girlfriend. Likewise, she can do mine but has trouble with hers.

For example:

The Dream - Last night, I had an odd dream where my dad asked my g/f to come over and tea. She declined, saying she doesn't like tea. Somehow, it evolved into a yelling match.

The Interpretation - Lately, me and my girlfriend have considered being totally open and honest with my family, as they do not really act so open with each other. So my g/f thought that her declining of tea is trying to be open, despite what my family values (we do like tea). The fight signifies my fear of my family not accepting us, and it turning into a very unwanted conflict.
